Short days are good days, and this was most certainly was a short day.
Once things got three handed the modest Simon Morris "ran well" in his own words, as he steam rolled his opponents.
Morris didn't lose a big pot heads up, and lost very few of the minor ones as well, as he overcame a start of heads up deficit to take down the crown.
Morris will earn $25,650 AUD for his win over the 90 player field. He also pockets a coveted Aussie Millions championship ring, something that he will be able to look on with pride in years to come.
