In the final hand before the break Dominykas raised to 6,000 from the button and Elliot three-bet to 18,000. Without hesitation Karmazinas four-bet to 42,000 and Smith let it go. After the short break we will most likely see some fireworks as Karmazinas will smell the victory having his opponent severely outchipped.
With 12,000 in the middle, a min-raise and a call, the flop read . Smith checked to Karmazinas who bet 8,000. Smith decided to make it 25,000 and his opponent called.

After being chipped down to around 40,000, JC Tran moved all in from the button and was called by Dominykas Karmazinas in the small blind. Elliot Smith then moved all in over the top for 208,900 total, and after contemplating it for about a minute, Karmazinas released his hand.
Showdown

Tran pointed to his ace in reference to his over card, which was his best hope. While the flop did not deliver an ace, it did pair Tran's eight and give him some extra outs. The turn was not one of them, and neither was the river. Tran made his exit in third place and left Smith (265,000) to face Karmazinas (735,000) in heads-up play.
