Welcome back to Day 2 of the 2014 Aussie Millions AU$25,000 Challenge. With 30 players remaining and the plan to play down to a winner, everyone better be prepared for a long, strenuous day on the felt. Not only will a winner be crowned, but along the way the bubble will burst as only the top eight spots will make the money. Up top for the winner will be AU$460,000 of the AU$1.56 million prize pool after a record 65 entries.
Leading the way into Day 2 is the reigning 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $100,000 Super High Roller winner Fabian Quoss. He bagged up 348,800 in chips thanks to busting Yevgeniy Timoshenko at the end of Day 1. The next closest person to Quoss, Ognjen Sekularac, finished nearly 100,000 in chips behind with 259,200.
Other notables still remaining are Dan Shak, Tony Bloom, Ole Schemion, John Juanda, Martin Jacobson, Jason Mercier, Daniel Negreanu, and Joe Hachem. George Karageorge will be the man with the shortest stack coming back, returning with just 13,200 in chips.
The cards are set to be in the air at 2 p.m. local time, so stay tuned for the action straight from the tournament floor to your computer screen.
