Farid Jattin Eliminated in 7th Place (A$84,960)

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Farid Jattin
Farid Jattin

Hun Lee raised to 22,000 in the cutoff and Farid Jattin called all-in for 9,000 on the button, Jorryt van Hoof tossed in the additional chips from the big blind. On the {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, van Hoof checked and called a bet of 10,000. The Dutchman then check-folded the {7-Hearts} turn when facing a bet of 50,000.

Farid Jattin: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Hun Lee: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Jattin was left with some outs as he needed a four or trey, however, the {k-Hearts} river failed to provide any help and the 2019 runner-up of this very event was eliminated in 7th place for a payday of A$84,960.

Chip And a Chair for Jattin

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}, action checked to Farid Jattin and he bet 17,000. Najeem Ajez called on the button and Hun Lee check-raised to 58,000 in the big blind in order to force folds from both opponents.

Fabian Brandes then raised to 35,000 in the hijack and had 134,000 behind. Stephen Chidwick called on the button and Jattin raised the pot. Brandes moved all in to force out Chidwick and Jattin also piled in his chips.

Fabian Brandes: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Farid Jattin: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The board came {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Jattin failed to get there, his stack was cut down to just 3,000 and he was forced all-in the next hand.

Hun Lee raised the button to 25,000 and Martin Kozlov called from the big blind. The {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked by both active players and Kozlov check-folded the {9-Clubs} turn to a bet of 30,000.

Farid Jattin: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Hun Lee: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}

A blank {a-Hearts} on the river let Jattin triple up but he remains below one big blind.

Van Hoof Gets There to Double Through Jattin

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Jorryt van Hoof
Jorryt van Hoof

On a {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop Najeem Ajez checked to Farid Jattin who bet 60,000. Jorryt van Hoof raised all in for 113,000 and Ajez folded. Jattin called and the cards were turned over.

Farid Jattin: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Jorryt van Hoof: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Jattin had flopped top two against Van Hoof's gutshot and flush draw. The turn {9-Hearts} improved him to an open-ended straight draw, but the river {4-Clubs} gave him a flush and he doubled through his opponent.

Miroslav Sheynin Bubbles the A$25,000 PLO High Roller

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Miroslav Sheynin
Miroslav Sheynin

Hun Lee raised the button to 25,000 and Miroslav Sheynin came along out of the big blind with just shy of 50,000 behind. The flop showed {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Sheynin check-jammed as the far shortest stack remaining when facing a bet of 10,000 by Lee. A snap-call of the dominating chip leader followed and Sheynin was in dire shape.

Miroslav Sheynin: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Hun Lee: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Sheynin needed running cards to avoid elimination and received some hope on the {8-Hearts} turn, however, the {k-Clubs} river was a blank and that let the bubble burst.

Farid Jattin then limped in and Chidwick checked his option in the big blind. The flop brought {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Chidwick quickly check-folded to a bet of Jattin.

Chidwick then took on chip leader Hun Lee and check-called 13,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. The {9-Clubs} turn was checked and a bet of 46,000 by Chidwick on he [9] river won the pot uncontested.

Pockett Out of Pocket

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Benjamin Pockett
Benjamin Pockett

Benjamin Pockett was the shortest stack coming into the final table with around 65,000 in chips and got his last 53,000 in pre-flop against chip leader Hun Lee.

Benjamin Pockett: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Hun Lee: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Lee was in the lead and flopped a set on the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. The turn {q-Clubs} and river {2-Clubs} did nothing but improve Lee to a full house and Pockett was eliminated.

The tournament is now on the money bubble with only seven of the eight remaining players guaranteed A$84,960.

Jattin Forces Fold From Kozlov

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Farid Jattin limped in from early position and Martin Kozlov raised the pot, which Jattin called. On a flop of {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Jattin checked and Kozlov bet 30,000 into 84,000 in order to pick up a call by Jattin.

The {7-Spades} appeared on the turn and Jattin now bet the pot for 144,000, which sent Kozlov into the think tank. Both players had very similar stack sizes and Jattin's aggression ended up taking down the pot as Kozlov got out of the way.
