Pots for Hoang and Ullmann

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Erik Seidel limped in with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Ngoc Tai Hoang checked his option with the {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Seidel bet the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop for 90,000 and Hoang called to see the {q-Spades} turn go check, check.

The {a-Hearts} river gave Hoang the superior hand and Seidel checked, Hoang bet 200,000 and received a call to scoop the pot.

Nino Ullmann then raised to 170,000 with the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} from under the gun and Oliver Weis defended the big blind with the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Both flopped a pair on {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Weis checked to Ullmann, who continued for 300,000.

Weis Takes From Wan

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

A raise to 180,000 by Oliver Weis with the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} was called by fellow short stack Vincent Wan in the big blind with the {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. The {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop saw Wan bet 125,000 after long consideration and Weis called.

There was no betting action on the {7-Diamonds} turn and the {a-Diamonds} river filled up Weis to a full house. Wan checked and a bet of Weis for 325,000 ended the action right there.

Nicolas Malo

Nino Ullmann opened pre-flop and Gareth Pepper called in the hijack. Nicolas Malo flat-called in the big blind.

Malo and Ullmann checked a flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts} over to Gareth Pepper who bet 400,000.

Malo check-raised all in for 790,000 and Ullmann re-raised to 1,325,000. Pepper took his time before tank-folding {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Nino Ullmann: {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Nicolas Malo: {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Ullmann had flopped the nut straight, with Malo holding nothing but a straight draw of his own.

The turn {3-Spades} and river {k-Spades} couldn't save him and Malo became the first elimination at the final table.

"I'm not sure about the play," Malo told the live stream. "Maybe I should fold preflop, but I'm just really happy in general.

"On Day 2 I went all in for 30,000 with {2-}{2-} against {8-}{8-} so I just ran super good and won a lot of all-ins to get here. The organisation is super good as well; it's just a great tournament with a super good field."
