Justin Young Eliminated in 4th Place ($18,624)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Justin Young
Justin Young

Magaly (or Maggie the Destroyer as Kevin Saul is calling her) Descalzi opened the action with a raise and Justin Young three bet out of the big blind. Descalzi moved all in and was snap-called by Young who turned over {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Descalzi turned over her hand, unintentionally doing it slow... {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}.

"Yep, that'll do it," said Young.

The board would run out {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Young finished in 4th place while Descalzi takes the chip lead into three handed play.

Joshua Sisak Eliminated in 5th Place ($14,434)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Kevin Saul raised first to act to 23,000 and Joshua Sisak moved all in for 197,000 total. Saul thought about it for a moment and made the call with {A-Clubs}{5-Spades} which was behind Sisak's {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Sisak's dreams of a double up were dashed, however, when the flop came {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the {A-Hearts} turn and {6-Spades} river were unable to catch him up with Saul and Sisak is eliminated in 5th place.

Descalzi Gets it Back From Madsen

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jeff Madsen and Magaly Descalzi keep playing big pots with one another. This most recent hand saw Jeff Madsen open to 26,000 from the small blind and Descalzi make it 76,000 to go from the big blind. Madsen tried to apply pressure by moving all in but Descalzi was having none of it and snap-called. The hands:

Madsen {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Descalzi {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop ended the race quickly when it came {10-Hearts}{5-}{3-Spades} and the turn of {7-Diamonds} and river {A-Clubs} did nothing to change that and Descalzi and Madsen are now nearly even in chips.

After the hand, Kevin Saul said to Descalzi "you might be my new hero. You are absolutely fearless." Justin Young from across the table nodded his head in agreed appreciation.

Michael Cohen Eliminated in 6th Place ($10,243)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Kevin Saul opened for 23,000 and Michael Cohen re-raised to 66,000. Saul moved all in and was quickly called by Cohen who held {Q-}{Q-} which crushed Saul's {7-}{7-}. Crushed until the {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop that is. Now it was Cohen who needed help and he wouldn't receive any with the {4-Spades} turn and {5-Hearts} river.

"Good hand," the gracious Cohen said, adding "good luck guys" as he stood up.

"Sorry man, if you had more chips," said a somewhat apologetic Saul.

"It's alright," replied Cohen as he headed off to collect his 6th place winnings.

Slow Play Backfires on Descalzi

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Magaly Descalzi
Magaly Descalzi

Jeff Madsen opened the pot to 23,000 and Magaly Descalzi made it 73,000 to go. Every one else folded and Madsen made the call.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} and both players checked.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Madsen bet 77,000 and was quickly called by Descalzi.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Madsen bet 200,000 this time.

"Raise," said Descalzi.

"300 more," she said, pushing a stack of chips forward.

Madsen didn't hesitate. "Call."

Descalzi turned over {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a flopped Broadway straight but Madsen got there with his {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and his small flush takes the biggest pot of the tournament thus far.

Elliott Zaydman Eliminated in 7th Place ($7,915)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Elliott Zaydman
Elliott Zaydman

On a {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Elliott Zaydman put the last of his chips in with {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} thinking he was in good shape but Jeff Madsen had {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} for the bigger pair. The turn was the {10-Spades} giving Zaydman a few outs but the {7-Spades} on the river was no help and Zaydman is eliminated in 7th place.
