Ryan D'Angelo was in the cutoff and he opened to 35,000 to start the action, with Abraham Korotki three-betting to 85,000 by grabbing a handful of chips from his as yet unstacked pile.
Maurice Hawkins had been crippled in unknown action during a previous hand, and he threw the last of his 75,000 or so into the pot with a slight splash.
D'Angelo decided to see the flop so he flatted Korotki's three-bet, and the two checked through to the turn on a board. When Korotki tapped the table once again on the river D'Angelo moved a bet forward which instantly folded Korotki (he still had some chip-stacking to do after all).
Hawkins stood up and asked to see a flush draw, but when D'Angelo tabled the he shrugged his shoulders and said "oh yeah, that'll do it."
Hawkins earned $33,967 for the deep run here today, more than enough to treat his wife on her birthday this Saturday.
