David Vamplew was on the button, and he raised to the minimum, 600,000. John Juanda called.
They both checked the flop and proceeded directly to the turn, when Juanda bet out 900,000. Vamplew called, and they were granted a river card.
The river was the and Juanda now bet out 1.5 million. Over to Vamplew, who gaev it some thought. Vamplew looked like a man defeated, huffing and puffing and scratching his face, but eventually he tossed in the call.
Juanda showed him a queen for top pair, and Vamplew mucked his hand.
John Juanda minraised one again and David Vamplew made the call.
The flop was an all-red , Vamplew checked and Juanda obliged with a 900,000 bet which Vamplew called.
The brought a four-flush which was checked by both players giving a river and a 3 million chip pot. Vamplew checked a third time and Juanda bet 1.45 million, Vamplew gurned for a while and looked disinterested then folded.

John Juanda min-raised his button and David Vamplew called, but both checked the flop. Vamplew bet out 675,000 on the turn and although he looked for a while as though he might raise, Juanda just called.
They reached the river and this time Vamplew reverted to checking. Juanda, now beginning to look just a little bit tired - they both do - tanked up for a while and then bet around 2 million.
Vamplew folded instantly, and Juanda picked up the pot.
