Doing the Wright Stuff

Marc Wright is showing off the type of aggression that got him this far, with and without hands.

He opened to 85,000 with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} from under the gun and was three-bet by Andrew Chen on the button. The Canadian made it 230,000 but folded very quickly when Wright shoved.

Two hands later Wright faced a button raise to 100,000 from Bahadir Kilickeser. He was in the small blind anf three-bet to 235,000. Kilickeser called but folded to a 260,000 c-bet on a {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop.

Kilickeser Plays Big Slick Passively

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Many poker players overplay ace-king but it appears Bahadir Kilickeser is not one of those players judging on a hand that just took place.

He opened from under the gun to 90,000 and his only customer was Andrew Chen in the small blind who made the call with {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. The flop came down {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and when Chen checked Kilickeser decided his best play was to check behind. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn received the same action, a check from check and a check from Kilickeser but when the river was the {Q-Hearts} Chen checked again but Kilickeser bet 75,000 and Chen quickly folded.

For some reason Kilickeser decided to show the table that he had played {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} in this way.

Kitai Shows His Class

Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

It's no accident that Davidi Kitai was chip leader coming in to today. He's just shown the class that got him there to extend his lead.

He raised from the button and called when Bahadir Kilickeser three-bet him from the small blind. The flop fell {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} and Kilickeser led for 105,000. Call.

The turn was {10-Hearts} and Kilickeser led for 250,000 only to fold when Kitai raised to 580,00.

The hands?

Kilickeser: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for ace-high.
Kitai: {7-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a pair and flush draw.

Tens Good For Garcia

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Csar Garca opened the betting with a min-raise to 80,000 from UTG+1 with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the action folds around to Bahadir Kilickeser in the big blind and he made the call. The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades} and both players wasted little time in checking.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} into play and Kilickeser took an 80,000 sized stab at the pot but Garcia was going nowhere and he quickly called. The river was another overcard to Garcia's tens but he felt compelled to call the tiny 80,000 into 300,000 bet from Kilickeser and discovered he was good.
