Italy's Rocco Palumbo is the seventh place finishers after losing his stack in back-to-back hands.
The first was a real cooler of a hand, which saw Palumbo raise to 115,000 from under the gun and get called by Felix Bleiker on the button. Plumbo then check-called bets of 115,000, then 165,000 and finally 500,000 on the board and showed for trip aces, but Bleiker turned over for a full house.
The next hand saw Daniel Cates open to 100,000 from under the gun and Palumbo call from the big blind, leaving himself 95,000 behind. Palumbo then shoved on the and Cates called.

Daniel Cates raised to 125,000 from the button only to have Iliodoros Kamatakis three-bet to 360,000 from the small blind. Cates opted to see the flop, which came down , and both players checked.
When the {2} appeared on the turn, Kamatakis led out for 370,000 and Cates called to see the river. Kamatakis slowed down with a check, and Cates thought long and hard before betting 620,000. Kamatakis tossed in a single chip to call.
"I have an ace," Cates said confidently.
"I have an ace too," Kamatakis replied.
"Really?" Cates asked, no longer confident.
Cates then showed the . Kamatakis showed his . Cates showed his kicker, the measly , and Kamatakis showed his, the , to win the pot.
Cates seemed a bit peeved at the hand and questioned why Kamatakis would check the river.
"I don't know you have the ace," Kamatakis explained.
"You bet I call," said Kamatakis. "I'm not folding trips."
Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst is the High Roller's eighth place finisher.
Selbst had shoved for 705,000 from the small blind and got a fold from Felix Bleiker in the big blind, albeit after 30-seconds or so of considering a call. A couple of hands later, Selbst open-shoved from the hijack with and Bleiker reshoved with . A few seconds later and the board was in view, Selbst said her goodbyes and headed out of the tournament area.
Action folded to Ihar Soika in the small blind and he raised all in for 620,000. Rocco Palumba was in the big, looked down at his cards, and announced a call.

Soika was in need of some help, and he got a little as the flop gave him a flush draw. The turn was a blank for him, but the river was not. Soika spiked a pair and doubled through Palumbo.
After Rocco Palumbo opened from middle position, a short-stacked Davidi Kitai moved all in for 340,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Palumbo, and he made the call.

It was a flip, but Kitai needed to improve to stay alive. He failed to do so on the flop, and the turn wasn't quite what he was looking for, though it did give him a gutshot to a wheel.
The dealer burned one last time and put out the on the river, the last card Kitai would see in the EPT12 Prague High Roller. The final eight players will now take a brief break to snap the official final table photo.
