Daniel Dvoress raised to 20,000 in middle position and Sam Greenwood called in the hijack.
The flop came 2?J?K? and Dvoress continued for 15,000. Greenwood called and the 5? fell on the turn.
Dvoress then bet another 45,000 and Greenwood again called. Dvoress slowed down and checked the 2? river and Greenwood checked behind as Dvoress turned over K?10?.
Atanas Malinov open-jammed his final 29,000 chips in from under the gun and found one caller in Sam Greenwood in the cutoff.
Atanas Malinov: 8?7?
Sam Greenwood: A?4?
It was looking hopeless for Malinov on the A?4?Q? flop, but the K? turn gave him a flush draw. It came in on the J? river, and he doubled up to around eight big blinds.
Around 40,000 was in the pot as Sam Grafton and Atanas Malinov went to the turn on a board of 7?10?5?K?. Grafton, in the small blind, then bet 30,000 and Malinov called in early position.
The river was the 5? and Grafton bet 82,000, representing most of his remaining stack. Malinov again called and Grafton turned over A?A?. Malinov mucked and Grafton raked in the pot.
Alex Kulev raised to 16,000 on the button before Byron Kaverman three-bet to 105,000 in the small blind. Stephen Chidwick then moved all in and Kulev called for 103,000. Kaverman burned through several time banks as he tanked for more than a minute before folding.
Alex Kulev: Q?Q?
Stephen Chidwick: A?K?
The flop came Q?9?2? and Kulev made top set to take a big lead in the hand. The 2? turn improved him to a full house, and he secured the double up once the 5? fell on the river. Kaverman then admitted he saw one of Kulev's queens before the action. "The way you put it in, I assumed you had queens," Kaverman told him.
At the same time at another table, Nikita Kuznetsov was all in for his last 95,000 from the button and up against Orpen Kisacikoglu in the hijack.
Nikita Kuznetsov: K?10?
Orpen Kisacikoglu: K?Q?
Kisacikoglu had Kuznetsov dominated as the board ran out 8?7?5?3?4?, sending Kuznetsov to the rail.
Mike Watson was in the small blind, Steve O'Dwyer was in the big blind, and Aleksejs Ponakovs was under the gun before all three players went to a turn of 9?10?8?6?. With around 50,000 chips in the middle, the action was checked to Ponakovs, who made a bet of 19,000.
Watson then put in a raise to 66,000, after which O'Dwyer quickly folded. Ponakovs took some time before he followed suit and he let out a big sigh while he saw the pot being shipped Watson's way.
Orpen Kisacikoglu opened from the button and Nikita Kuznetsov jammed all in from the big blind for 42,000. Kisacikoglu quickly called and the cards were tabled.
Nikita Kuznetsov: A?3?
Orpen Kisacikoglu: J?10?
Both players flopped a piece on A?A?J?, but Kuznetsov's three aces would remain the best hand on the 4?K? runout, doubling him up to around a starting stack.
Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 20,000 in the cutoff as Daniel Dvoress and Mike Watson came along from the blinds.
The flop came 3?8?9? and Dvoress moved all in for 75,000. Watson gave it some thought before folding, but Thorel snap-called.
Daniel Dvoress: Q?J?
Jean-Noel Thorel: K?9?
Thorel showed top pair, while Dvoress was looking to complete a straight draw. The 10? turn gave him his straight and Thorel paid him off following the A? river.
Mike Watson raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Jean-Noel Thorel called from the big blind. The 3?6?2? flop was checked by both players before Thorel led for 15,000 on the 5? turn.
Watson called and did so again when Thorel fired 30,000 chips on the 8? river. Thorel showed down A?4? for a straight and raked in the pot.
Meanwhile, Ben Heath was eliminated from an adjacent table when his last few chips went in with K?8? against the 10x9x of Adrian Mateos and could not hold.
Atanas Malinov raised to 16,000 in early position, then called when Sam Grafton moved all in for 55,000 in the big blind.
Sam Grafton: J?J?
Atanas Malinov: 6?6?
Grafton had Malinov crushed with his jacks as the flop came 9?9?A?. The J? turn improved Grafton to a full house, and Malinov was left paying off the double up once the A? completed the board.
"That's why I folded pocket eights under the gun. I knew I would get a better hand," Grafton said.
