Set Over Set Busts Talbot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

The trio of Parker Talbot, Mohamed Ameur Hammi, and Marco Di Persio all checked the J?2?9? flop.

The dealer put out the 4? on the turn, and Talbot led out for 1,200. Hammi folded, and Persio raised to 5,100, which was enough to put his opponent all in. Talbot snap-called.

Parker Talbot: 2?2? All in
Marco Di Persio: 4?4?

Talbot’s flopped set fell short against the set that Persio hit on the turn, and the 3? completed the board, sending Talbot to the rail.

Hartmann Gets Value on All Three Streets From El Yaacoubi

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Pascal Hartmann
Pascal Hartmann

Pascal Hartmann opened from the button and then called a three-bet from Rachid El Yaacoubi in the big blind.

They both saw a flop of K?6?5? where El Yaacoubi continued for 2,100, and Hartmann called.

A 5? dropped on the turn and El Yaacoubi slowed down with a check. Hartmann took over as the aggressor with a bet of 4,700, and El Yaacoubi called.

Another five, the 5?, landed on the river and again El Yaacoubi checked, then Hartmann bet 12,700, leaving himself just 500 behind. El Yaacoubi didn't hesitate for long before he called, then he quickly mucked when he saw the full house of Hartmann, who turned over K?Q?.

A Set of Jacks Sends Schwaederle Packing

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Cedric Schwaederle
Cedric Schwaederle

Nikita Kuznetcov set the stage with an under-the-gun raise to 700, quickly finding a caller in Klemens Roiter on the button. Cedric Schwaederle upped the ante from the small blind, three-betting to 2,800. After some deliberation and a glance at his opponents’ stacks, Phil Gross made the call from the big blind. When the action circled back to Kuznetcov, he wasted no time shoving his entire 28,600-chip stack into the middle.

Roiter bowed out, but Schwaederle called for his remaining 18,600, putting the pressure squarely on Gross. With both players covered, Gross decided to take his chances and called, sending the pot to a three-way showdown:

Cedric Schwaederle: K?K?All in
Nikita Kuznetcov: J?J?All in
Phil Gross: Q?J?

The flop came 6?3?4?, leaving Schwaederle's kings in the lead.

However, the turn brought the J?, completing a set for Kuznetcov and flipping the script.

Schwaederle still had outs for a river king, but the 8? fell instead, sealing the massive pot for Kuznetcov. Schwaederle’s tournament run came to an abrupt end, while Gross saw his gamble fall short.

Del Pino's Bluff Goes Awry as Tazon Hits Top Boat

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Omar del Pino
Omar del Pino

A pot of around 12,000 had brewed between Omar Del Pino in the small blind and Javier Tazon in the big blind.

The board read 8?7?7?10?A? and Del Pino had fired a small bet of 1,000 on the river, then Tazon had announced a raise and made it 13,500. After some time, Del Pino then moved all in, which gave Tazon a test for the 13,000 he had behind. With a shrug of the shoulders, Tazon needed just a few seconds to make the call.

Del Pino then revealed 10?3? for a pair of tens, but that was no match for the top boat of Tazon, who held A?A?.

Fossa Busts to Yurkiv's Aces

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Fossa Giovana Hiratomi
Fossa Giovana Hiratomi

Action was on the flop on a board of 2?J?7? with around 14,000 in the pot. Roman Yurkiv fired out a bet of 4,000 from the small blind and Giovana Hiratomi Fossa called on the button.

The turn was the J? and Yurkic went again with a bet of 5,500, which Fossa called. On the 8? river, Yurkiv pushed out 15,000, putting his opponent all in. Fossa had been holding her chips, but placed them back on the table and went firmly into the tank, occassionally glancing across at her opponent to try to get a read.

After a long pause, she placed her chips in the middle to make the call for her remaining 11,500. Yurkiv turned over A?A? for two pair, aces and jacks. Fossa had 9?9? and was eliminated.

River Chaos as Mitrovic Accidentally Shows His Hand

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Paawan Bansal
Paawan Bansal

A highly unusual situation just unfolded at Table #11 during a hand between Paawan Bansal and Hrvoje Mitrovic.

According to the action recounted to PokerNews, the player on the button opened the betting, Mitrovic called from the small blind, and Bansal three-bet from the big blind. The button folded, and Mitrovic called to see a flop.

The flop came down 2?J?4?, and Mitrovic check-called a continuation bet from Bansal. When the A? appeared on the turn, Mitrovic again check-called, this time for 2,700.

The river brought the 10?, and Mitrovic immediately moved all-in for roughly 23,000 — about twice the size of the pot — igniting drama at the table.

"What are you doing to me here?" Bansal asked. "Will you show if I fold?"

Mitrovic, who had been covering his cards with both hands since shoving, inadvertently revealed his holdings — K?8? — as he fumbled his cards momentarily. With that information in hand, Bansal declared, "Sorry, I have to call."

"This is sick," remarked Mitrovic as he turned over his cards officially. Bansal revealed 4?3? for a pair of fours, enough to scoop the pot in this extraordinary hand.

"Sorry man, you either had king-queen or nothing, I wanted to call," Bansal finished with.

Stanciu’s Aggression Forces a Fold

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Traian-Costin Stanciu
Traian-Costin Stanciu

Traian-Costin Stanciu opened the action from early position with a raise to 300, drawing calls from both blinds.

The flop came K?6?J?, and after both blinds checked, Stanciu continued for 400. Only Cedric Schwaederle in the small blind called to proceed to the turn.

The 2? turn saw another check from Schwaederle, giving Stanciu the chance to ramp up the pressure with a bet of 1,500. After some thought, Schwaederle made the call.

The 6? river prompted one final check from Schwaederle. Stanciu paused briefly before firing a third barrel, this time for 4,100. Schwaederle went deep into the tank, taking nearly three minutes to deliberate, but ultimately let his hand go, conceding the pot to Stanciu's unrelenting aggression.

Vos Flops a Straight Against McConachie

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Pascal Vos
Pascal Vos

There were 2,000 chips in the middle on a flop of 9?J?7? when David McConachie checked from early position and Pascal Vos fired 1,000 from the next seat over. McConachie called.

A 5? dropped on the turn and again McConachie checked, then he was faced with a bet of 3,000 from Vos. After a short time, McConachie called.

When the J? completed the board on the river, McConachie checked for a third time, then Vos announced a bet of 9,000 and threw in the chips. McConachie took longer to think about this than he had on previous streets, but still came to the same conclusion as he had done before and called.

Vos then showed he flopped a straight with 10?8?, and McConachie held his cards up in front of him, snapped a picture of them with the board, then said "Ten-eight, yeah?", before he mucked.

Gherghe Eliminates Vican in the First Hand

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Razvan Gherghe
Razvan Gherghe

The first hand of the main event at Table 34 escalated quickly. With approximately 5,000 already in the middle, the action picked up on a flop of 3?J?8?.

Michael Sklenicka led out with a bet of 2,100, and Ivan Vican made the call. Razvan Gherghe then raised to 7,200 and got a call from Sklenicka. When the action returned to Vican, he announced all in for 25,000.

Gherghe tanked for a while but eventually moved all in over the top, leaving Sklenicka with a tough decision. After deliberating, Sklenicka folded, saying he had 9?10?.

Ivan Vican: A?Q? All in
Razvan Gherghe: J?J?

Vican needed to dodge the board pairing to survive. The 6? on the turn kept him alive, but the river 8? gave Gherghe a full house, eliminating Vican.
