Levesque Still Talking

The mouth is always runnin'
The mouth is always runnin'
Francis-Nicolas Bouchard raised to 95,000 and then Eric Levesque moved all in from the small blind. After an official count, Levesque was all in for 761,000 total. Like usual, he began chatting and egging on Bouchard. First telling him to fold, then telling to call. This went back and forth for a few minutes until finally, Bouchard folded.

Levesque showed {9-Spades} {9-Clubs} and Bouchard now has 660,000 chips.

Darren Keyes Eliminated in 6th Place ($26,380)

Darren Keyes
Darren Keyes
Canadian Darren Keyes has just become the first Canuck of the five we started with to bust from the final table.

Keyes open-shoved all in from under-the-gun and the action then fell to Amer Sulaiman who moved all in over the top. Everyone else folding, setting up a heads-up preflop showdown:

Keyes: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Sulaiman: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

Although behind preflop, Keyes took the lead in the hand after the flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and he maintained it through the turn -- {3-Clubs}.

Sulaiman needed a resuck king to win the pot and that's exactly what he got when the dealer burned one and placed the {K-Clubs} on the end. Sulaiman's fans went crazy as he stacked up a whopping 1.42 million in chips after the hand.

Carlos Giron - 7th Place
Carlos Giron - 7th Place
Carlos Giron open-shoved for 241,000 from middle position. Action folded around to the big blind. In that seat sat chip leader Sol Bergren. After a minute or so in the tank, Bergren said, "I call, I don't have a good hand, but I call."

He showed {Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and Giron had {A-Hearts} {9-Spades}.

Bergren flopped a queen and went on to win the hand as the board ran out {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {6-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}. Giron finished in 7th place and earned $20,098.

Pardo Doubles Through Levesque

Action folded around the table to Rogelio Pardo on the button who open-shoved all in for a total of 178,000. Carlos Giron folded his small blind, leaving Pardo's fate up to Eric Levesque in the big blind. A solid three minutes passed before Levesque made his decision:

"I don't know why I'm doing this," Levesque said, as he slid a pile of blue chips into the middle, signifying a call.

A moment later, the cards were on their backs:

Levesque: {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Pardo: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

A {6-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Spades} board ensued giving Pardo a full house and new life in the tournament with 410,000 in chips. Levesque dropped to 780,000 in the loss.

"Donkey call! Donkey call!" yelled one spectator.

"Yeah, it's a donkey call. I agree!" Levesque snapped back.

Sol-ja Boy Cranks That

Eric Levesque raised to 87,000 from the cutoff seat and Sol Bergren called from the big blind. The two players took a flop of {J-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {6-Spades}. Bergren took some time before firing out a bet of 100,000. Levesque called.

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and Bergren checked after about a minute of thought. Levesque immediately reached into his stack and fired 150,000. Bergren called.

The river was the {A-Clubs} and Bergren checked. Levesque stood from his seat and said, "You have king jack there?" He then checked.

"Ace six." said Bergren, turning over {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}. Levesque flung his hand into the muck, slipping to 990,000.

Bergren is up over two million now.
