Both checked the flop and when the hit the turn, Cardyn bet 136,000. Dias took his time and made the call, delivering the river card. Cardyn studied the board and slowly placed out his bet. It was 267,000 that he decided to go with and Dias made the call.
Cardyn turned over just the nuts, , winning a huge early pot to move to the 1.5 million chip range.

Roman Suarez opened to 80,000 in middle position. Jose "Nacho" Barbero popped it to 180,000 from the cutoff and action folded back around to Suarez.
After a short while, Suarez gave it up and Nacho took down the first pot of the day.

We've also got one Frenchman who would like nothing more than to steal this trophy and smuggle it back to Europe.
