Charles Honkonen bet 2,500 from middle position on a flop of 7?3?2? and Caleb Piderit raised to 6,500 in early position. Honkonen called and they saw the Q? fall on the turn.
Piderit then bet 4,500 and Honkonen again called. The river was the Q? and Piderit bet 21,000, enough to put Honkonen all in. Honkonen leaned back in his seat and tanked for a minute before calling for his last chips.
Piderit turned over 2?2? for a full house and Honkonen tossed A?2? into the muck on his way to the exit.
In a three-way pot on a flop of 7?10?8?, Hobin Suh bet 3,300 and Aleksandr Baturinetc attempted to check-raise but was forced to call as he didn't put in enough for a raise. The player in between folded.
Baturinetc led out for 5,600 on the 3? turn and Suh called. Baturinetc then checked on the 8? river and Suh took some time before betting 8,000. Baturinetc folded to hang onto his remaining 12,000.
Alexey Ruzin bet 3,000 from the cutoff on a flop of J?10?9? and Eric Piderit moved all in for 34,300 under the gun. Ruzin called without noticing that Michael Liang had yet to act in early position. Liang ended up calling and Ruzin's initial call stood.
The turn was the 3? and Liang moved all in for an additional 2,000. Ruzin called and turned over K?Q?, while Liang had 10?10? for a set and Piderit had 5?2? for a flush draw.
"I said I wanted to loosen the table up, but not this much," Piderit said as the river came the K?, completing his flush and earning him a triple up while Ruzin took the last of Liang's chips in the side pot.
Barny Boatman was out of position in a heads-up pot against Victor Shih on a board of 8?K?4?5?9?. Boatman bet 7,600 as the player next to him leaned over to get a read.
"I'm too jetlagged, I can't handle the staredown," Boatman told him. "Just do whatever you're going to do."
Shih folded.
"Your speech-play is too good. You should've kept quiet, I would've called."
