Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Nick Maimone opened for 175,000 from the button and was met by a three-bet to 380,000 by Dario Sammartino in the small blind. Sean Winter folded the big, Maimone moved all in, and Sammartino simply laughed before sending his cards to the muck.

Winter Extends Lead

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dario Sammartino limped the button, Sean Winter did the same from the small blind, and Nick Maimone checked his option from the big to bring about an {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop. Winter led out for 135,000, Maimone folded, and Sammartino called to see the {A-Spades} turn.

Winter bet again, this time 445,000, and Sammartino came along to the {9-Spades} river. Winter slid out a bet of 1.8 million, which put Sammartino, who had 1.56 million behind, to the test. The Italian tanked for a couple of minutes but eventually released his hand.

Josh Beckley Eliminated in 4th Place ($439,560)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Josh Beckley - 4th Place
Josh Beckley - 4th Place

In the first hand back from the dinner break, Sean Winter raised to 180,000 under the gun and Nick Maimone called from the button. Josh Beckley came along from the small blind, Dario Sammartino folded the big, and three players took a flop of {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, which they all checked.

When the {Q-Spades} hit the turn, two checks inspired Maimone to bet 300,000, Beckley called, and Winter got out of the way. The {10-Spades} river put four spades on board, and Beckley checked to Maimone, who bet 525,000. Beckley then check-raised all in for 1.225 million.

"This is a tough one," Maimone said before putting in the chips. Beckley confidently tabled the {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for an ace-high flush, but it was no good as Maimone held a straight flush with the {j-Spades}{9-Spades}. Beckley was shocked at what he likely perceived as a slowroll, shook his head, and made his way to the payout desk.

Winter Gets Some Back from Maimone

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After losing a pot to Nick Maimone, we just saw Sean Winter get some back to make the gap between them a little bigger again.

Winter just limped from the small blind and Maimone made it 205,000 from the big blind. Winter called, and the flop brought out {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, on which Winter check-called 180,000.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the {6-Spades} river, Winter bet 555,000 and Maimone folded quickly.
