Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Paul Newey raised under the gun to 8,500 and David Peters, sitting on a fresh stack after just having re-entered, moved all in for 100,000 two seats on his left. The action folded to Joe McKeehen and he called all in for about 50,000 and Newey called as well to put two players at risk.

Newey: {A-}{A-}
Peters: {A-}{K-}
McKeehen: {J-}{J-}

The board ran out {K-}{10-}{4-}{3-}{3-} and Newey knocked out two players.

Koon: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Luca: {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Koon doubled his stack.

Boeree Bests the Boys

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We're not sure how action unfolded, but it appeared action exploded on a {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} flop and resulted in David Peters getting his last 35,000 all in, Liv Boeree her last 50,000 or so, and Dan Colman having them both covered.

Peters: {5-Spades}{3-Spades}
Boeree: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Colman: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Both Colman and Peters held flush draws, but the latter's was best. Meanwhile, Boeree was ahead with jacks. The {A-Clubs} turn changed nothing, and neither did the {9-Clubs}. An excited Boeree nearly tripled up, Peters was eliminated, and Colman was cut down to size.

Vogelsang Making the Most of His Reentry

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In his first hand after reentering the tournament, Christoph Vogelsang got his stack all in preflop and was flipping against Thomas Muehloecker.

Vogelsang: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Muehloecker: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop kept Vogelsang in the lead, and so did the {10-Diamonds} turn. All he needed to do to stay alive was dodge an ace and queen on the river, which is just what he did when the {4-Spades} blanked.

Perkins Bluffs Kaverman, Keeping McKeehen in The Game

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Joe McKeehen just found himself all in for just a few big blinds, and he was up against both Bill Perkins and Byron Kaverman. Kaverman and Perkins had created a sizeable side pot, but the hand was checked down on a {7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Kaverman, in position, bet 15,200 on the river and Perkins check-raised to 34,000. Kaverman smiled, sighed and ever so slightly shook his head before folding.

"You got it right," Perkins smiled to McKeehen who showed {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Perkins tabled {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and he claimed to side pot, getting Kaverman to laugh as he possibly folded the best hand.

McKeehen stayedin the pot, but he still only has 18,000 chips.

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Connor Drinan's been having a good day so far, but he did just double up a lucky Anton Astapau who came back as an underdog in the following hand.

After a raising war, Astapau ended up all in for 86,200 and Drinan made the call.

Astapau: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Drinan: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and Astapau found himself a double up.

Vogelsang Vanquished By Luca

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

After Ivan Luca raised from the button, Christoph "Tight-Man1" Vogelsang three-bet jammed for roughly 65,000 from the big blind. Luca made the call and it was off to the races.

Vogelsang: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Luca: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Vogelsang managed to pair his queen on the {5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, but it did him no good as Luca also made a set. The {3-Diamonds} officially left Vogelsang drawing dead, and the {5-Hearts} river made his elimination official.
