Pollak With the 4-Bet

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Benjamin Pollak opened under the gun plus one to 145,000. His neighbor Georgios Sotiropoulos 3-bet to 455,000 and action folded back around to Pollak.

Pollak thought about it for 30 seconds and tossed in a time bank card when needed. He needed 15 seconds more and eventually pushed all in. Sotiropoulos folded almost immediately.

Small Pots; Patel and Michalak Rising

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Frank Ditz three-bet all in to win the pot uncontested, but remains the short stack at the table.

Jakub Michalak opened to 135,000 on the button and Emil Patel called from the small blind. On the {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, both players checked. Patel bet the {6-Hearts} turn for 160,000 and Michalak folded.

Patel raised to 130,000 and Markus Durnegger defended the big blind. Durnegger checked and folded to a bet on the {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop.

Georgios Sotiropoulos opened to 150,000 and Michalak three-bet to 405,000, which Sotiropoulos called. The flop fell {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the Greek checked, Michalak made it 500,000 to go and that won the pot right there.

Durnegger made it 125,000 to go on the button and Sotiropoulos defended the big blind. The {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop went check, check, and Sotiropoulos bet the {4-Spades} turn for 280,000. Durnegger called but the bet of 605,000 on the {6-Spades} river proved to be too much for the Austrian. Durnegger used one time bank and sent his cards into the muck.

Small Pot to Kaiser

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Ronny Kaiser opened under the gun plus one for 145,000 and got no fewer than 3 callers: Benjamin Pollak (cutoff), Georgios Sotiropoulos (button), and Jakub Michalak (big blind).

Michalak checked to Kaiser on {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the original raiser bet 280,000. Pollak and Sotiropoulos folded, Michalak called.

The 2 of them checked the {A-Hearts} on the turn and the {10-Spades} completed the board. Michalak checked and folded to Kaiser's 425,000 bet.

"Show one," Pollak asked.

"If I do that, you'll know what I had," Kaiser said while he almost immediately showed the {5-Hearts} anyway.

Three Times is a Charm

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Benjamin Pollak faced a raise to 140,000 by Georgios Sotiropoulos from under the gun and three-bet to 460,000 in the big blind. Sotiropoulos folded and Pollak claimed the pot.

Then, Markus Durnegger made it 125,000 to go from the button and Pollak squeezed to 305,000 from the small blind, again finding no resistance.

Last but not least, Ronny Kaiser raised it up to 135,000 and Pollak three-bet to 395,000 from the button. Kaiser gave it some consideration and folded, to which Pollak mucked his cards very high. Since Kaiser could see them, the cards were shown to the entire table and {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} was revealed.

Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

Quan Zhou raised to 120,000 and the action folded to Jakub Michalak in the big blind. "How much do you play?" Michalak asked and Zhou replied with a "Nine hundred." Michalak moved all in a few seconds later and Zhou called.

Quan Zhou: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Jakub Michalak: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop improved Michalak to aces and kings, and the {2-Diamonds} turn and {6-Spades} river were of no help. The High Roller regular from China was eliminated in 9th place and takes home €91,300, while the remaining eight players have €115,600 locked up.
