Mustapha Kanit and Mikita Badziakouski previously tangled in a few pots already and would do so again in the last hand of level five. Kanit defended his big blind against a raise by Badziakouski and check-raised the flop, which Badziakouski called.
On the turn, Kanit bet 15,000 and Badziakouski asked him for the stack behind with 10 seconds remaining on the clock. "Around 95,000," Kanit replied and the clock ran down to zero before the next countdown started. The Belarusian then raised to 40,000 and Kanit took more than the first 30 seconds to make a decision, before moving all in. Badziakouski ended up folding, but complained about the situation and the floor was called.
After the entire scenario had been explained, Badziakouski also had to forfeit one time bank chip as well after taking more than 30 seconds to act before his check-raise, and stormed out of the tournament area.
