Small Pots After the Break

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Only two flops emerged after the final four players returned to their seats and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski raised to 226,000, which Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen in the big blind called. Only a check, bet and fold followed on the {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop as the pot was shipped to Badziakouski.

Schemion Chips Up Before the Break

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

In another battle of the blinds, Ole "wizowizo" Schemion raised to 400,000 and was called by Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich. Schemion this time bet the {7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop for 544,000 and the {j-Clubs} turn for 891,480, both of which Geilich called.

Schemion only had ten seconds of time bank left when he reluctantly checked the {j-Clubs} river and check-folded to a bet of 2,486,875 by Geilich.

One more hand was played and the remaining four then headed into a scheduled five-minute break.

Bigger Pots for Hunichen and Schemion

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski tangled in another three-bet pot in which the latter reraised to 660,000 and was called in a battle small blind versus button.

Badziakouski bet the 10d9c4s] flop for 900,000 and picked up a call to then check through the {7-Hearts} turn, as Hunichen checked behind. Badziakouski also checked the {9-Diamonds} river and tank-folded to a shove.

The next pot featured the remaining two contenders as Ole "wizowizo" Schemion raised to 400,000 in the small blind and Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich came along from the big blind. The {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop was checked, Schemion led the {k-Diamonds} turn for 650,000 and was called to then bet the {9-Diamonds} river for 1,913,500 into 2,150,000. Geilich gave it some thought and folded.

Hunichen Loses to Badziakouski; Takes From Geilich

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

The stack sizes of the final four players are getting somewhat closer again as shortest stack Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski won a three-bet pot against Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen.

Hunichen had raised to 220,000 and called a reraise to 600,000, then checked the {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Badziakouski continued for 300,000 and that's all it took to win the pot.

Hunichen got all those chips and some more back from Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich, who raised the button to 218,675 and was called out of the small blind. After a checked-through flop of {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Hunichen check-called 418,675 on the {9-Spades} turn and check-called another 236,875 on the {2-Spades} river.

Geilich tabled the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a bluff and Hunichen dragged in the pot with {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for the nut flush.

Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker raised it up to 176,000 and picked up a single caller in Ole "wizowizo" Schemion out of the big blind.

Schemion led the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop for 128,000 and then called the shove of Muehloecker for 1,218,752 total.

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Ole "wizowizo" Schemion: {8-Spades}{5-Spades}

Muehloecker's pair was ahead and that didn't change on the {k-Clubs} turn but the {6-Diamonds} river improved Schemion to an eight-high straight. And just like that, the field has been whittled down from six to four in back-to-back hands, as Muehloecker departs with a payday of $85,237.

Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich made it 178,675 to go in the hijack and Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams as the shortest stack moved in from the button for the last 881,139, which Geilich called.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Geilich was behind by the kicker but flopped best on {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}. The {a-Hearts} turn gave him two pair and Adams missed out on his flush draw and live cards on a blank {4-Diamonds} river, ending his run in 6th place for $65,872.

Two Doubles for Muehloecker

Muehloecker vs Adams

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker jammed the last of it from under the gun and was isolated by Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams, who raised from one seat over.

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

On a board of {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, the kicker played to let Muehloecker double.

One hand later, Muehloecker defended the big blind when Ole "wizowizo" Schemion raised the button to 240,000. Muehloecker check-called all-in for 357,376 on the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop.

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker: {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Ole "wizowizo" Schemion: {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}

The top pair for Muehloecker was ahead and neither the {5-Clubs} turn nor the {10-Clubs} river changed that.

Badziakouski's Double Leaves Muehloecker Short

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Badziakouski vs Muehloecker
Badziakouski vs Muehloecker

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams escaped from elimination when his {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} chopped with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} of Ole "wizowizo" Schemion on a board of {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Two hands later, Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski opened to 164,800 and Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker jammed for more than 2.3 million in the small blind. Badziakouski called for less than that and they were off to the races.

Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Muehloecker found one of his overcards on the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop but still needed a king or running cards for a superior full house. The {8-Diamonds} turn came as a blank and so did the {3-Diamonds} river in order to leave Muehloecker very short.
