Schemion Doubles Through Geilich

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Schemion Doubles Through Geilich
Schemion Doubles Through Geilich

First to act, Ole "wizowizo" Schemion opened to 160,000 and was then faced by a three-bet to 398,675 of Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich from one seat over, which the German called. On a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Schemion went for a check-raise from 368,675 to 840,000 with 1,273,351 behind and Geilich called.

The {k-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and Schemion checked, Geilich used a portion of his time bank and moved all-in only to get snap-called by Schemion.

Ole "wizowizo" Schemion: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Only a queen or king would bust Schemion and instead the {2-Spades} appeared on the river to secure his double.

Two Pots for Schemion

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The action throughout the last few hands has been rather low and the only noticeable pot saw Ole "wizowizo" Schemion with a min raise to 160,000, which Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen called out of the big blind. Hunichen then check-folded the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop to a continuation bet of 160,000 by Schemion.

Three hands later they tangled again as Hunichen opened to 176,000 and Schemion came along from the small blind. They checked all the way to the {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts} river on which Schemion bet 379,000 and picked up a call. The {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} of Schemion were enough to win the pot.

Ole "wizowizo" Schemion three-bet jammed into a raise by chip leader Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen when they returned from the break and Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich also won a three-bet pot.

Hunichen then limped the small blind and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski checked his option. Hunichen check-called a min-bet on the {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs} turn and the {8-Diamonds} river was checked. Hunichen tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and that won the pot.

Hunichen Wins Big Pot Against Adams

Level 23 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante

It all started with an open raise to 147,000 by Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams and Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen called on the button, Ole "wizowizo" Schemion in the big blind made it three ways to the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop on which he checked.

Adams continued for 133,000 and Hunichen raised to 385,000, which forced out Schemion and resulted in a call from Adams. On the {2-Hearts} turn, Adams check-called a bet of 910,000 and then led the {7-Spades} river for 327,800.

Hunichen simply moved all-in for more than 5.6 million and Adams timed out to surrender the pot.

Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira Eliminated in 7th Place ($50,907)

Level 23 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante
Filipe Oliveira
Filipe Oliveira

Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich had won the previous hand against table neighbor Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker and then raised the button to 156,875. Muehloecker simply moved all in for more than 3.55 million with table short stack Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira in the big blind, who called all-in for 872,334.

Geilich also opted to call for more than 2.85 million and they created a massive three-way pot.

Filipe "Zagazaur" Oliveira: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Oliveira was looking poised to triple up with the best pocket pair preflop but Geilich went from last to first on the {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop. Nothing changed on the {6-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river, which sent Oliveira out in 7th place for $50,907 and left Muehloecker very short.

Schemion Wins Two in a Row

Level 23 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker raised it up to 150,500 from early position and was called by Ole "wizowizo" Schemion in the big blind. This pot emerged only minutes after their last big clash and Schemion check-called 131,093 on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop.

The {9-Diamonds} turn was checked by both and Schemion overbet the {6-Spades} river for 805,000 into 659,436 with just 339,090 behind. Muehloecker now went into the tank and folded.

One hand later, Muehloecker raised for the same amount and was called by Schemion in the small blind. There was no drama this time, as the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop was checked and Schemion bet the {8-Diamonds} turn to drag in another pot.
