Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Steve Roselius
Steve Roselius

Action folded around to Steve Roselius in the small blind and he moved all in for 67,000, which Eric Nelson called from the big.

Roselius: {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Nelson: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Roselius made a straight to stay alive.

Three-Time RIU Reno Champ Daniele Done and Dusted

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jason Daniele
Jason Daniele

Three-time RIU Reno trophy winner Jason Daniele moved all in for 111,000 from the hijack and Ivan Zarate called from the button. Both blinds folded and it was off to the races.

Daniele: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Zarate: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Daniele was ahead and maintained his lead on the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, though Zarate picked up a gutshot. He hit it too when the dealer burned and turned the {q-Diamonds} to leave Daniele drawing dead. The meaningless {8-Clubs} was run out on the river and Daniele headed to the rail in 27th place.

Boriolo Flips Medina Out of the Tournament

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Abraham Medina got his stack all in preflop and found himself racing for his tournament life against Jason Boriolo.

Medina: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Boriolo: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Medina was just looking to hold but that proved easier said than done as the {j-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop paired Boriolo. Neither the {3-Spades} turn nor {8-Spades} river helped Media and he was sent to the payout desk in 28th place to collect $880.

Sylvia Eliminates Jones

Level 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to 2012 WSOP runner-up Jesse Sylvia in the small blind and he bet enough to put the extremely short-stacked Darrell Jones all in from the big. Jones called off for his last 20,000 without looking.

Sylvia: {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Jones: {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

Jones needed some help but failed to get any as the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Jones was eliminated in 29th place for $880.
