On a heads-up completed board of 3?Q?5?4?9?, there was around 180,000 in the middle when Tennyson Schaina led for 125,000. The action was then on Jeff Platt who used one of his time banks before he announced a raise to 485,000, which left him with only 40,000 behind.
After using one of his own time banks, Schaina tossed out a chip to make the call.
Platt then turned over K?6? for a king-high bluff while Schaina tabled 3?4? for two pair to take the pot.
"Well, if I had known it was two pair, I would've given up!" Platt joked as the pile of chips were shipped to hi neighbor.
Fortunately for Platt, he managed to triple from one big blind to three the very next hand when his J?9? bested 7?8? of the big blind.
