After one limp late, Dan Wagner made it 10,000 on the button.
Joe Ciffa and the big blind called. The limper also came along to see a 
flop. Ciffa immediately shoved 64,600, and after two folds, Wagner got a count and called with the 
flush draw.
Ciffa had the 
for top pair and an open ender with one club blocker.
The 
turn gave Wagner even more outs, but the 
river wasn't one of them. As a result, Wagner is down to 65,000 on his second bullet and Ciffa is almost right back where he started on his first.

This Summer Slam $1,000 Deep Stack High Roller drew 82 entries creating a $73,501 prize pool that will pay nine spots at the final table. They had guaranteed a $20,000 first-place prize, but the winner will earn $23,520.

Milton, Canada's Abraham Azraq has built up a contending stack heading into the second break of the day.
He claims to have bluffed his way into it, but an aces over kings set up certainly helped along the way.
In the meantime, San Fransisco, CA resident Norge Mastrangelo joins him among the leaders. Originally from Western New York, Mastrangelo made the decision to play today after coming into town to visit family.
It appears to have been a wise one, as he's steadily built up a stack throughout play and sits near the top of the leaderboard heading into the break.
When play resumes with Level 9, the registration and reentry period will officially close.

Perennial contender Alex Visbisky is in the thick of things once again after cracking one opponent's set of aces.
They got the chips in on the turn with Visbisky having turned the 
into two pair and a flush draw. His opponent had the dominating set of aces, but hadn't done enough to get Visbisky off his hand earlier, an egregious error for which he would soon pay the ultimate price.
A heart came down on the river giving Visbisky the goods.
