Igor Hot entered the day second in chips after seeing a heater end his Day 1c evening. Unfortunately for him, Day 2 was much more biting. He was recently seen down to around 150,000, and only fell further from there, eventually finding himself as low as 18,000.
Hot shoved all in for that 18,000 from under the gun and received calls from Paul Camby in the small blind and Blake Whittington in the big blind. Action for a side pot then checked through the runout, which came . All three hands were then tabled.
Igor Hot:
Paul Camby:
Blake Whittington:
Hot's pair of nines were good to earn him the triple and bring him to around an eight big-blind stack. However, he was eliminated shortly thereafter to end his run for the day.
Ravi Raghavan was on the button and saw action folded to him. He opened to 16,000 and received a three-bet to 50,000 by John Reading, who was in the small blind. Raghavan thought for a bit and then slid out his stack of T25,000 chips for a four-bet to 366,000.
Reading thought for about 35 seconds and then let his hand go, ultimately opting for another spot to commit all of his chips.
Saad Ghanem announced he was all in from middle position and Jeremy Brown was next to act in the hijack. Brown looked down at his cards and then called all in for less. All remaining players folded and the two tabled their hands.
Jeremy Brown:
Saad Ghanem:
Ghanem hit one of the three remaining aces on the flop , leaving Brown to acknowledge his likely fate as the turn came . He began to stand up as the river fell , spelling his elimination from the tournament as the pot was shipped Ghanem's way.
