Meier Bluffs in Big Pot

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dylan Meier
Dylan Meier

On a heads-up turn board of {3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, a huge pot was brewing between big stacks Dylan Meier and Joshua Reichard.

Reichard was first to act and had bet 85,000, but then Meier raised to 175,000, which sent Reichard into the tank.

After several moments, Reichard made the call, and the two saw the {4-Clubs} land on the river.

Reichard checked to Meier, who then ripped it all in for 298,000, putting himself at risk if called.

Reichard then went even deeper into the tank, and after a good minute of counting his chips and talking a little out loud, he tossed his cards into the middle. Meier then showed {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a whopping nine-high as he was pushed the massive pot to boost his chip stack up to over 750,000.

Evans Knew He Would Get There

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Josh Evans bet 17,000 and Robert Urbatsch made the call.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Evans continued for 16,000.

"Now you're making it less?" Urbatsch joked as he made the call. "Rebate," Evans replied.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and Evans fired again for 25,000. Urbatsch quickly tossed in a chip and flipped over {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a pair of sevens, but it was bo good as Evans turned over {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a rivered pair of kings.

"You just knew you were gonna get there, huh?" Urbatsch said to him.

"Sure did, that's why I was betting!" Evans laughed.

Fair Fight on the Flop

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Kevin Ellis and Ralph Kingan got it all in preflop, with Ellis at risk of elimination.

Kevin Ellis: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Ralph Kingan: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The flop of {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} was a perfect sweat as it gave Ellis top pair and also gave Kingan the nut flush draw. The turn {10-Clubs} didn't change much, but the {a-Spades} on the river gave Kingan the win and Ellis was eliminated.
