What began with 20 entrants in the 2019 US Poker Open Event #8: $25,000 8-Game Mix is now down to the final four. With only three getting paid, one more will leave emptyhanded.
Mix game regulars Chris Vitch, Randy Ohel, and Nick Schulman will all be in final table action today; however, they all trail Brandon Adams, who begins with the chip lead. Adams is not known specifically as a mixed-games specialist, but he's definitely a well-rounded player who can play all of the games with some degree of proficiency. Adams has multiple six-figure scores both in no-limit hold'em and mixed games.
Here's a look at how the final four stack up:
Seat | Player | Chip Count |
---|---|---|
1 | Randy Ohel | 239,000 |
2 | Brandon Adams | 1,217,000 |
3 | Chris Vitch | 280,000 |
4 | Nick Schulman | 765,000 |
Action will kick off at 1 p.m. local time on the money bubble. The next player to go out will miss out on $80,000. Of course, the eventual winner of the event will walk away with $270,000 and all the players will be eyeing that.
The live stream of the event will be available on PokerGo starting at 2 p.m. Remember, you can watch all USPO final tables exclusively on PokerGO.
