First Three Hands

Mickael Guenni raised to 50,000 and took the blinds in the very first hand.

On the second hand Antoine Amourette raised to 50,000 but a couple of seats down and Jimmy Ostensson pushed all-in. No-one looked particularly interested in calling and Amourette gave up the pot without much thought.

On the third hand, Theo Jorgensen raised to 50,000 with Nourredine A?taleb and Fabrice Touil calling.

The flop was {K-Spades} {3-Clubs} {3-Spades} and it was checked to Jorgensen who bet 75,000. A?taleb folded but Touil check-raised to 225,000. Jorgensen thought for a moment, before making making the call against the player second in the chip counts. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Touil checked a second time but Jorgensen did not check behind, instead firing out 260,000, Touil now looked a little unsure of what to do next and sat thinking.

After a couple of minutes, the clock was called and Touil then gave up the hand, Jorgensen knocking Touil back into the middle of the pack and putting himself at about the 3 million mark.

Welcome To The Final Table Of The 2010 WPT Grand Prix de Paris

The players have had two days off to relax and visit the Eiffel Tower, the Catacombes de Paris, Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre, but now that time is over as the players are squeezing into the area at the end of the restaurant.

Theo Jorgensen is currently head and shoulders above the rest of the pack with more than double anyone else's stack. Fabrice Touil starts out in second and is the only other player with over seven figures, indeed Jorgensen could double any other stack up apart from Touil and would still be chip leader, a strong position to be in.

The rest of the final table is made up of former EPT winner Arnaud Mattern, fellow French hopes Nourredine A?taleb, Antoine Amourette and Mickael Guenni. Also there but fairly short stacked are Swedes Per Linde and Jimmy Ostensson, the latter having been the chip leader at the start of day 4.

The players are just about squeezing into a very packed tournament area, space is fairly limited to say the least! However we expect play to start in the next 10 minutes or so.
