Hand #78 - [Removed:14] Eliminated in 5th Place ($214,884)

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Marty Smyth has the button in Seat 8. After two folds, he raises to 200,000. Only [Removed:14] calls.

The flop is {j-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {a-Diamonds}. Harroch quickly moves all in and, like a lightning bolt, Smyth's chips are in the middle to match him.

Harroch: {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}
Smyth: {7-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {4-Clubs} {4-Spades}

Harroch is in a world of hurt. He has top pair and a gutshot straight draw against Smyth's set of fours. The turn card is the {5-Diamonds}, giving Harroch two pair, aces and fives. That gives him a full house draw to go along with his gutshot straight draw.

The board does pair on the river, but the {4-Hearts} gives Smyth quads and doesn't improve Harroch. We hope he enjoyed his dinner, because he didn't get much time on the TV table once play resumed. The $214,884 in prize money he will collect will probably ease the pain. Somewhat.

Hand #77 - Michael Mizrachi

Billy Argyros has the button in Seat 5. Michael Mizrachi opens the betting in the cutoff seat, raising it up to 135,000. [Removed:14] makes the call from the small blind.

Flop: {8-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {10-Spades}. Harroch leads out into The Grinder, betting the full pot, 300,000. Mizrachi comes over the top with an all-in re-raise -- 755,000 on top. Harroch mucks after just a moment, and Mizrachi is off the hook.

Hand #76 - Peter Jetten

Michael Mizrachi has the button in Seat 4. Peter Jetten opens the pot for 175,000. Only one person calls - Marty Smyth, the big blind.

The flop is {8-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}. Smyth checks to Jetten, who checks behind. The turn {5-Spades} completes the rainbow and pairs the board. Smyth checks again. Jetten now goes for a two-thirds pot bet of 250,000. That's enough to win the pot.

Hand #75 - Marty Smyth

Peter Jetten has the button in Seat 3. Marty Smyth raises the pot to 210,000 under the gun. From the small blind, Michael Mizrachi makes the call, and it's heads up.

Flop: {2-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. Mizrachi checks, opening the door for Smyth to continue out with a bet of 350,000. Mizrachi quickly folds.

Hand #74 - Peter Jetten

[Removed:14] has the button in Seat 9. Everyone folds to Peter Jetten in the small blind, who limps in. Michael Mizrachi checks from the big blind.

It's a rainbow flop of {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Both players check to the {Q-Hearts} on the turn, where Jetten bets 75,000. Mizrachi calls.

Both players check the {Q-Spades} river. Jetten has an ace in his hand for two pair, aces and queens. Jetten wins the first hand after dinner.

Michael Mizrachi - 1,535,000

Peter Jetten - 1,160,000
[Removed:14] - 1,045,000

Dinner Bell

The clock has been paused while the players, spectators, and your loyal reporters take a 90-minute dinner break. We will return at 9:30pm local time.

Hand #73 - Peter Jetten

Marty Smyth has the button in Seat 8. He opens the pot for 150,000. The only caller is the big blind, Peter Jetten. The flop of {4-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} has lots of potential, but both players check to see the {7-Spades} hit the turn. It's check, check again, and then a second time on the {9-Clubs} river. Jetten has two jacks in his hand, enough to win the pot.
