Craig Sabel Doubles Up

Craig Jamison made it two bets preflop and both Thang Luu and Craig Sabel called. On the flop of {Q-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {6-Diamonds} , Sabel bet and both opponent called. The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and the fireworks ensued. Sabel bet, Jamison called, Luu raised, and Sabel then three-bet. Jamison said, "I knew thats what you had!" He then folded. Luu made it four bets which was enough to put Sabel all in.

Sabel: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Luu: {A-Clubs} {6-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}

Sabel had the nut full house. Only the case six would win the pot for Luu. The river fell a harmless {2-Spades} and Sabel more than doubled up to 330,000 in chips.

Lawrence Slips as Guzman Runners Straight

George Guzman raised it up from the button and Craig Sabel made the call from the small blind. Spencer Lawrence deliberated for a moment from the big blind before raising again to make to 60,000 to go. Both opponents called.

The flop came {Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{A-Clubs} and the action checked to Lawrence who opened with a bet. Guzman the raised from the button. Sabel then motioned to call but evenutally pulled his chips back. The tournament director was called and ruled the forward motion as a call. Lawrence then reraised once again. Guzman called all in, and Sabel got out of the way.

Guzman: {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Lawrence: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}

Lawrence held the lead with two pair, but amazingly the turn landed the {K-Diamonds} and river {10-Clubs} to give Guzman a running straight to take the pot. He was jubliant as he raked in his chips. "Quick give them to me before they draw out!" he chirped, much to the "Are you serious?" looks from the rest of the table.

Lawrence is now in trouble on about 85,000 in chips while Guzman is strong again on about 270,000.

Greg Jamison Doubles Up

The pot was three-bet preflop between Greg Jamison and Thang Luu. Fireworks ensued on a flop of {9-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. Jamison and Luu began a betting war that concluded when Luu's four-bet was enough to put Jamison all in.

Jamison showed {A-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {3-Clubs} for the nut flush draw and a nearly uncounterfitable low draw. Luu showed {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Clubs} for aces and a second-nut low draw.

The turn of the {9-Clubs} gave Jamison the nut flush, and then the river of the {3-Diamonds} gave him the nut low as well.

After the hand Jamison is up to 260,000 in chips.
