Yasui Please

Grant Yasui has just doubled through Casey after they both got it in preflop. Yasui was dominating Kuhn with his {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} to {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}.

The board came {3-Spades} {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} {4-Spades} {K-Clubs}.

Yasui up to 360 now whereas Kuhn down a bit to 350,000.

Action Flop

It was folded around to Sammy Porter in the cut-off who raised it up to 35,000 and after a slight dwell John McAvoy called from the button. The blinds folded before a {A-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {J-Clubs} flop was revealed.

A 125,000 continuation bet from Porter was followed by an all in from McAvoy and a quick call.

Porter showed {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} to McAvoy's {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. The {2-Hearts} came on the turn before the {Q-Clubs} fell on the river to complete the flush draw.

McAvoy scooped in the pot worth 610,000 to become big chip leader whereas Porter was left with just 60,000.

Chips Moving

Chips have been moving around the table but with no more eliminations for now.

The main beneficiary was Casey Kuhn who took some chips off Andrew Cohen. He called a preflop raise on the button and a continuation bet on the flop. Turn and river were checked through leaving us with a {3-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {3-Hearts} {9-Spades} {7-Spades} board.

Kuhn tabled {8-?} {8-?} which was good enough for the pot.

John Williams Doesn't Make the Score He Wants

John Williams - Not the man who did the theme to Jaws
John Williams - Not the man who did the theme to Jaws
With 10 players left all on one table, John Williams and Sammy Porter see a flop of {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts}, both having put in 20,000 preflop. Porter leads out for 35,000 and Williams pushes for 21,000 more. Porter makes the call soon enough and finds his {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} needing a heart against Williams' {10-Spades} {10-Clubs}, the turn is the {5-Hearts} and river {6-Hearts}.

A fully flushing board leaves Williams as the official final table bubble.

One Table but not the Final Table Yet

The remaining ten players are being moved to one table after we lost Caeser Chavez in 11th place.

Short stacked he moved all in and found callers in two spots.

The flop came and was checked through to give us a board reading {6-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}. No checking from Casey Kuhn this time though as he bet forcing John McAvoy to fold.

Kuhn tabled {A-Spades} {9-Spades} for a straight to Chavez's {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds}. The river came {2-Diamonds} to confirm Chavez's exit.

Even though the players are all at the final table we need to lose one more before we have our first official final table at this year's WSOP.

Castro-ated

Osmel Castro has been knocked out after his short stack was all in against three limpers on a {9-?} {J-?} {Q-?} {3-?} {6-?} board. Casey Kuhn scooped the pot with {J-?} {8-?} and Castro busted when he could only show {3-?} {2-?}.
