Chip Leader Stretches Further Ahead

Cohen doing his thing right now
Cohen doing his thing right now
Andrew Cohen's stack tops the 350,000 mark now after he took care of Joe Devlin in battle of the blinds.

Cohen raised it up to 12,000 before Devlin min raised it to 24,000. Cohen called and then moved in on a {7-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {7-Clubs} flop. Devlin must have thought he was ahead as he snap called with {4-?} {4-?}. He wasn't too happy to see Cohen flip over {9-Clubs} {10-Clubs} that held up through the remaining streets to eliminate him.

It Al Adds Up

Double up for Al Adler. I didn't see when the chips went in, but Adler was standing victorious with {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} on a {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {10-Clubs} board. Apparently his opponent had made a big move with {4-?} {3-?} at some point during the hand and been caught.

Ferd Wants to Finish First

Ferdinand Boleski is on the up. He just managed a big double up to about 140,000 on a {9-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} board. It was blind versus blind with his {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts} against the big blind's {10-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. A {Q-Spades} came on the turn making a split a possibility, but the {A-Clubs} river confirmed the pot went Boleski's way.

Soon after, he got in a raising war on a {7-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {4-Spades} forcing another player off a pot.

No Eight on His Plate

Jesse Duang raised it up from mid-position and David Hillis moved all in from the very next seat. Everyone else folded and Duang made the call.

Duang tabled {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts} to Hillis' {8-Clubs} {8-Spades}.

The board came {3-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}.

No eight for Hillis and he becomes one of many casualties today.

Easy come, Easy Go

It was folded around to John Harris on the button who made a standard raise before the big blind moved all-in. John took his time, occasionally mentioning that he doesn't know if he can fold, before calling all-in with {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}.

His opponent held {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} and the board blanked out to propel Harris up to 125,000.

The very next hand, Harris called an UTG's all-in of 18,200 with {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. He was facing {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts} that held after the board fell. So, just as Harris had finished stacking his chips he had to give a few of them away. He's still sitting very comfortably on over 100,000.
