Park-ing Ticket

Matt Parker is the latest casualty as the carnage continues, he pushed for 11,500 from the button with {K-Hearts} {9-Spades} and was eventually looked up by the big blind's {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

The flop was {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} which helped neither, but Parker seemed to have caught a break with the {9-Hearts} turn. But another heart came on the river, the {8-Hearts}, to send him out and over to the offical desk with his ticket to collect his winnings.

BTW...

We lost twenty players out of the eighty-one starting today within thirty-eight minutes, if this trend continues, the tournament will be finished within two hours...

Marcos 'Peters' Out

Paul Peterson has won a big flip against Edward Marcos, knocking out the latter. They were off to the races as it was {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} versus {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} all-in preflop, of course.

The board came {4-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {5-Hearts} and Marcos was a goner.

Peterson is one of the chip leaders now with a very healthy stack.

Donahue is the Queen

A short-stacked player moves all-in from the button and Stephanie Donahue makes the call in the small blind, dominating his {J-Diamonds} {10-Spades} with {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts}.

A flop of {4-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} causes a few deep breaths, but Donahue fist-pumps when a {Q-Diamonds} comes on the turn and avoids the two remaining tens on the {5-Clubs} river.

Porter Flushes Jankowski Away

With the board reading {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {3-Hearts}, Marshall Silverstein leads out for 3,500. Guy Jankowski moves all-in and Sammy Porter makes the call as Silverstein folds.

Jankowski doesn't want to particularly show his {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and he's drawing to runner runner against Porter's flopped nut flush with {K-Hearts} {6-Hearts}. Blanks on the turn and river and another player is down.

Sanchez Doesn't Get Clubbed to Death

On a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {3-Clubs}, all the money went in between Stephen Sanchez and Thanna Girdpool who hold {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} and {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} respectively, meaning the hand is finely balanced with two cards to come.

The turn is the {4-Clubs}, making the flush for Girdpool but the {5-Spades} for the re-suck on the river houses up Sanchez while knocking out Girdpool in the process.

Jesse 'Sawats' Them Away...

Triple elimination very early on in this frenetic tournament.

Colton Avery moved all-in for about 5,500 and then Bobby O'Mara moved all-in behind him for 17,000. Jesse Duangrudeesawat, the biggest of the stacks involved in this hand, made the call and then Tyrone Kelley put his last 12,000 in the pot too.

Avery: {K-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
O'Mara: {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}
Duangrudeesawat: {10-Spades} {10-Clubs}
Kelley: {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

{2-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} {7-Hearts} was the board and somehow Duagrudeesawat avoided all the overcards to knock out the other three players.
