We're getting close to the restart here at the main feature table. Players are wandering over and the announcement for them to take their seats has been made. Will probably still be a few minutes.
In the last hand of the level, Russell Crane raised to 100,000, and Brock Parker reraised to 275,000. The table folded back to Crane who let it go.
The five remaining players are now taking a one-hour dinner break. Play will resume at approximately 8:00 p.m. Vegas time. We'll update those chip counts momentarily.
Crane raises to 100,000 and Alex Wilson calls in the small blind. Jesse Rios squeezes and moves all-in for 575,000 more in the big blind. Crane folds after some brief consideration and Wilson also folds, albeit somewhat more reluctantly.
We were starting to get lulled into a stupor. Russell Crane raised to 100,000 from under the gun, winning the blinds and antes. Then Brock Parker raised to 90,000 from under the gun, winning the blinds and antes. Then Joe Serock raised to 95,000 from under the gun... but this time Jesse Rios called from the button. The blinds folded, and we were going to see a flop.
Which came . Serock continued with a bet of 160,000, and Rios quickly announced he was raising. He bet a total of 425,000. Serock rapidly moved all in, and Rios just as rapidly made the call.
Serock
Rios
Serock was looking for a heart, but the that popped out on the turn was even better. "Whoaaaa!" screamed the crowd at Serock's better set. The river was the , and Rios was left shaking his head.
That hand pushes Serock back up to 2.5 million, and knocks Rios back down to 700,000.
Russell Crane raised to 115,000 from under the gun, and the table folded around to Jesse Rios who called from the big blind. The flop came . Rios checked, and Crane checked as well. The turn brought the , and Rios pushed out a bet of 140,000.
Crane riffled his chips with his right hand as he eyed Rios sitting to his right. Finally, he made the call.
The river brought the , and both checked. Rios showed and Crane . "Jeez!" said Rios afterwards with a smile, leaning back in his chair, reacting to the fact that their kickers didn't play.
