Russell Raise Sends Rios Running

The table folded around to Jesse Rios who completed from the small blind, then Russell Crane raised to 55,000 from the big blind. Rios called. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Rios led out for 60,000, and Crane promptly raised to a total of 201,000. Rios let it go, giving Crane the pot.

Crane now has about 1.3 million, while Rios has 750,000.

That's My Blind

More evidence of players playing back at Joe Serock: The table folded to Serock in the small blind who raised to 90,000. Alex Wilson thought for about 20 seconds, then counted out a reraise to a total of 245,000. Serock let it go.

Parking The Big Chips Out on the River

Brock Parker raises preflop and Jessie Rios calls in the big blind.

The flop of {6-Clubs} {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} is checked by both, before Rios leads on the {2-Clubs} for 81,000. Parker makes the call and Rios bets 97,000 on the {8-Diamonds} river. Parker raises to 275,000 and Rios folds speedily.

Slipping Down a Se-rocky Slope

Joe Serock raises to 72,000 UTG. Brock Parker reraises to 212,000 from the big blind but Serock folds.

The dynamic of the table has certainly changed, earlier when Serock had about 40% of the chips in play, his raises were going unchallenged. Now that he's lost a few and the short stacks have caught up a bit, people are less afraid to play back at him and he's had to fold quite a few of his raises and reraises in the last hour or so.

Running in Place

Not too much happening at the moment. The last four hands...

Russell Crane opened with a raise to 76,000 from the button, claiming the blinds and antes.

Then the table folded to Joe Serock in the small blind who raised to 90,000, and Alex Wilson gave up his big blind.

Next, Brock Parker raised to 77,000 from the cutoff, claiming the blinds and antes.

Finally, Alex Wilson raised to 77,000 from the button, and Jesse Rios called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Rios led for 75,000, and Wilson folded.

Crane is Niles High

Russell Crane raises to 76,000 from the cutoff, Joe Serock reraises to 200,000 from the small blind. Crane moves all-in and Serock instantly folds.

Crane is now probably third in chips with about 1.25 million.

Another Cash for Rios

Jesse Rios
Jesse Rios
Jesse Rios has been involved in a lot of pots at today's final table. He currently has just over 800,000 in his stack -- in fifth chip position.

Rios already has multiple cashes at this WSOP, and has said he is interested in pursuing Nikolay Evdakov's record of 10 cashes set at last year's series. "I want to play the 5 p.m.," he was overheard saying earlier, referring to the $10,000 World Championship No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw that is just getting underway. Not sure if he's going to make that one -- we'll see.

The 33-year-old California native is a professional poker player and business owner. He lists among his interests and hobbies playing sports, enjoying the outdoors, and raising his two daughters.
