About twenty minutes ago, the TV monitors went out above our featured table, much to the chagrin of the hoard of spectators perched atop the Jack Link's Lounge. Emcee Robbie apologized profusely on the microphone, saying he'd already called the technicians to come have a look.
Just a moment ago, one of the ESPN techies we know only as "George" came dashing into the room, jiggled a few wires, pressed a button, and revived our televisions. The crowd goes wild.
"George, George, George of the Jungle," was the chant over the microphone from Robbie. We're back in business over here.
Tom Dwan and at least one other player just sprinted off the stage following the last hand of that level. It appears we're on a two-minute unscheduled bathroom break. We'll be playing 25,000/50,000 with a running ante of 5,000 when we return.
Tom Dwan raises to 105,000 under the gun, and Austin McCormick appears to be thinking sinister thoughts. He eventually just makes a smooth call, and the flop comes .
Dwan taps the table slowly, and McCormick is deep in thought, his face again obscured by his gray hoodie. He finally checks it back.
Turn: , and the action check-checks again to the river. Check-check again, how dull.
