Tom Schneider Eliminated in 14th Place ($22,085)

Tom Schneider- 14th Place
Tom Schneider- 14th Place

Tom Schneider moved all in from the cutoff for 123,000 and was called by Jeanne Nelson from the button. The blinds folded and the two players revealed their cards:

Nelson: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Schneider: {K-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Schneider the lead and he was in good shape to double up. That ended quickly when the {10-Hearts} hit the turn, giving Nelson a straight and leaving Schneider drawing dead. The {K-Clubs} was put out on the river and Schneider, the last big name in the field, was eliminated from the tournament in fourteenth place.

Bruce Peterson Eliminated in 15th Place ($22,085)

On a flop of {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Bruce Peterson bluffed all in with the {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for him, he was called by Mike Minetti who held {J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Peterson was drawing to running straight cards but the {5-Clubs} on the turn slammed the door shut on that. When the {K-Spades} was put out on the river, Peterson was eliminated from the tournament in fifteenth place ($22,085). Minetti is up to 1.08 million.

Aces vs. Kings

Harold Angle moved all in for 432,000 and was called by Jeanne Nelson in the cutoff. Angle showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} but was way behind Nelson's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}.

The {7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} on the flop made things interesting, giving Angle a club flush draw. The {J-Spades} on the turn changed nothing, but the {10-Clubs} on the river gave Angle the said flush and allowed him to crack Nelson's pocket rockets.

Angle is up to 915,000 while Nelson took a hit down to 180,000.

Thomas Scott Eliminated in 16th Place ($17,475)

Daniel Camillo was in middle position and raised to 70,000. Thomas Scott made the call from the cutoff and the two saw a flop of {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Camillo bet 200,000 and Scott made the call. When the {2-Spades} hit the turn, Camillo moved all in and Scott called for his remaining 190,000.

Camillo showed {K-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and had paired his duece on the turn. Scott was behind with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and couldn't improve when the {7-Clubs} came on the river. Camillo increased his stack to around 1.3 million while Scott was eliminated from the tournament in sixteenth place ($17,475).

Jon Hair Eliminated in 17th Place ($17,475)

Jon Hair- 17th Place
Jon Hair- 17th Place

Jon Hair, who had been nursing a short stack for quite some time, was under the gun and all in with {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} against Mike Minetti's {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Hair's best bet was to catch an ace, but that didn't happen on the {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop. He did pick up a straight draw however. The {Q-Hearts} on the turn left Hair looking for an ace or duece on the river.

The dealer burned and flipped over the {7-Clubs}. Minetti won the hand and increased his stack to 860,000. Hair was eliminated from the tournament in seventeenth place and will take home $17,475.

Michael Woo Eliminated in 18th Place ($17,475)

Michael Woo- 18th Place
Michael Woo- 18th Place

Michael Woo was all in preflop with {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} against the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} of Jeanne Nelson. The {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{Q-Spades} left Woo drawing to running tens or straight cards to stay alive.

The {J-Clubs} on the turn provided a little hope, but the {5-Diamonds} on the river gave Nelson the pot. She is now sitting with about 680,000 while Woo was eliminated from the tournament in eighteenth place ($17,475).

Peterson's Turn to Double

Jay Hong raised to 75,000 from early position and Bruce Peterson, who was next to act, called all in for 60,000. Everyone else folded and the two showed their cards:

Peterson: {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Hong: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Peterson was in need of some help and received some when the flop came {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. The {8-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing and the {5-Spades} on the river gave Peterson a much needed double to 177,000. Meanwhile, Hong dropped to 325,000.
