Jin Doubles Through Busse

Shawn Busse raised to 75,000 from middle position, and just as he had done just a couple of hands earlier, Wenlong Jin reraised all in, this time from the button. It folded back to Busse who made the call.

Jin showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Busse {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}. The flopped paired Jin, coming {7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}, and after the {9-Diamonds} turn there was no river that could help Busse.

Jin doubles to 550,000. Just a flesh wound, though, for chip leader Busse, who still has 2.2 million.

The action folded to Adam White in the button, and he opened the pot with a 75,000-chip raise. Next to speak, Wenlong Jin moved all in for 261,000 chips. White called.

Showdown
Jin: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
White: {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and they chopped the pot.

More Chips for Crowe

Jason Mann -- largely quiet thus far through the first 75 minutes of play -- raised to 70,000 from middle position, and Allan B?kke called from the cutoff. Owen Crowe then reraised to 220,000 from the small blind, and after Pekka Ikonen folded the action was back on Mann.

Mann rechecked his cards, and quickly threw them dealerward. B?kke wasn't as hasty, but eventually let his hand go as well.

Crowe moves to about 2.17 million -- still a bit behind chip leader Shawn Busse, though both are well ahead of the field, none of whom have 1 million. Mann has about 820,000 now, and B?kke 720,000.

White Fights B?kke

Allan B?kke raised to 55,000 from the hijack seat, and Adam White called from the big blind.

The flop came monotone -- {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}. White promptly pushed all in for his remaining 432,000, and B?kke immediately leaned back in his seat. He sat back forward and remained in contemplation for several minutes, as a couple of players got up from the table to stretch their legs.

Finally B?kke let it go. White has about 575,000 now, and B?kke 875,000.

One for Ikonen

The table folded to Pekka Ikonen who raised to 55,000 from middle position, and all got out except for Ilya Andreev who made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, and both players quickly checked. The turn was the {J-Hearts}, pairing the board. This time Andreev set out a bet of 60,000, and Ikonen took about ten seconds before making the call.

The river brought the {A-Diamonds} and a quick check from Andreev. Ikonen bet 90,000, and Andreev sat motionless for a half-minute before finally letting it go.

Ikonen has about 690,000 now, while Andreev has a little over 900,000.

Double Up for Crowe

Owen Crowe
Owen Crowe

The action folded to Owen Crowe on the button and he opened the pot. The small blind released and Adam White called in the big.

The flop came out {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Crowe called a 85,000-chip bet from White. The turn card brought a {8-Spades} and action to the felt.

White check-raised to 925,000 a 160,000-chip bet from Crowe. Crowe tanked and than moved all in for about 950,000. White called.

Showdown
White: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Crowe: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The river card was the {a-Spades} and Crowe doubled up. Crowe is now up to 2,180,000 chips and White slipped to 560,000.
