We went three-handed to a flop of 
, and Dmitry Stelmak checked. Daniel Alaei was the preflop aggressor, and he continued out with a bet of 140,000. That folded the monkey in the middle, but Stelmak made the call to go to fourth street.
Stelmak checked the 
turn, and Alaei checked behind this time. Both men checked the 
river, and we've got ourselves a good old-fashioned showdown. Stelmak was first, and he showed 
for the straight to the queen, good enough to take down the pot.

Ludovic Lacay raised from late position, and Ville Mattila three-bet to 195,000 from the big blind. Lacay called, and we've got our first flop of the day.

, and a small continuation bet from Mattila was enough to take it down right there.

From early position, Dmitry Stelmak raised to 60,000. Miguel Proulx flatted from the hijack seat and then Ville Mattila reraised to 285,000 from the button. The blinds folded followed by Stelmak and Proulx, allowing Mattila to pick up the first pot of the day.
The players have been plunked into their chairs, and the chips have been un-bagged and stacked into pretty technicolor towers. Announcements and introductions are all out of the way, and the cards are in the air here at the final table.

Dmitry Stelmak is a full-time poker pro from Moscow who can often be seen playing some of the largest buy-in events around. He holds nearly $350,000 in career winnings, including three WSOP cashes. All of those cashes have come this year.
Before playing poker, he was studying Mathematics and Science at the University of Moscow. His favorite poker game is pot-limit Omaha, making it quite fitting that he's made his way to this final table. He started playing poker five years ago online and four years ago attended his first live tournament.
His best live result so far was last year when he chopped first place in the $3,000 Bellagio Cup for $104,095. He has also won a $2,000 side event on the Russian Poker Tour with 100 players. Last September he cashed at EPT Barcelona, coming 38th for €20,000. He also came 14th in a €2,000 side event.
To kick off 2010, Stelmark placed eighth in the $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller event at the PCA for over $66,000. A couple months later in April, he scored tenth at EPT San Remo for over $86,000.
Stelmak comes into today's final table with an above-average stack, sitting in fourth place on the leaderboard.
