The Early 180s

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #180: Matt Waxman raised to 120,000 and Eric Baldwin called. Baldwin then check-folded to a bet of 85,000 on the {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop and Waxman won the pot.

Hand #181: Eric Baldwin made it 120,000 to go from the button, Matt Waxman called and then both players checked the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop. Waxman proceeded to bet 90,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn, Baldwin called and then both players checked the {7-Diamonds} river. Waxman showed the {J-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a straight and Baldwin mucked.

Hand #182: Matt Waxman raised to 120,000, Eric Baldwin called and both players checked the {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop. Baldwin then bet 110,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn and Waxman folded.

Hand #183: Eric Baldwin raised to 120,000 and then folded when Matt Waxman three-bet to 300,000.

Waxman Lays It Down

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Matt Waxman in the tank.
Matt Waxman in the tank.

Hand #177: Eric Baldwin raised to 120,000 from the button and Matt Waxman called. The latter proceeded to check-call bets of 90,000 and 220,000 on the {3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop and {5-Hearts} turn respectively, and then Waxman checked for a third time on the {8-Spades} river.

Baldwin moved all in and Waxman hit the tank. The entire rail was on it's feet as a couple of minutes passed by, but they'd see no showdown as Waxman ultimately decided to fold.

Hand #178: Matt Waxman folded the button.

Baldwin Wins the Flip

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #174: Matt Waxman moved all in from the button and Eric Baldwin folded.

Hand #175: Eric Baldwin folded the button.

Hand #176: Matt Waxman moved all in from the button and Eric Baldwin called off for 740,000 from the big blind.

Waxman: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Baldwin: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

Waxman got it in good but he was flipping against Waxman, who was just looking to hold. Much to the disappointment of his rail, and the glee of Baldwin's, the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop contained a king to give "basebaldy" the lead. Neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor {K-Hearts} river helped Waxman and he sent some chips over to Baldwin.

One Card Away

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #166: Matt Waxman moved all in from the button and Eric Baldwin folded.

Hand #167: Eric Baldwin folded the button.

Hand #168: Matt Waxman moved all in from the button and Eric Baldwin folded.

Hand #169: Eric Baldwin shoved all in from the button for 740,000 and Matt Waxman thought for a minute before making the call.

Waxman: {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Baldwin: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Waxman got it in as a dominating favorite as his queen was way out in front of Baldwin's ten. The crowd was on its feet knowing this was likely the last hand of the tournament, and that sentiment was reinforced when the {6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop failed to help Baldwin. The {6-Diamonds} turn paired the board, and Waxman was one card away from a bracelet. Unfortunately for him, it'd have to wait as the {8-Clubs} peeled off on the river to make it a chop pot.

Hand #170: Matt Waxman folded the button.

Heads Up: Eric Baldwin & Matt Waxman

Hand #147: Eric Baldwin raised to 100,000 on the button, Matt Waxman called and then both players checked the {8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. After the dealer burned and turned the {6-Clubs}, Waxman bet 105,000 and took down the pot.

Hand #148: Matt Waxman limped the button, Eric Baldwin checked his option and then both players checked the {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop. When the {8-Hearts} appeared on the turn, Baldwin check-folded to a bet of 50,000.

Hand #149: Eric Baldwin opened for 100,000 on the button and Matt Waxman called, leading to an {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop. Waxman checked, Baldwin bet 90,000 and Waxman moved all in. Baldwin snap-called off for 735,000 total and tabled the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for a set of kings. Waxman then showed the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flush draw. Baldwin wasn't able to dodge a club as the {A-Clubs} turned, but fortunately it was a good club as it gave him a full house and a guaranteed double. The meaningless {2-Spades} was run out on the river for good measure and Baldwin was pushed the pot.

Hand #150: Matt Waxman raised the button and won the pot.

Hand #151: Eric Baldwin raised to 100,000 on the button and won the pot.

Hand #152: Matt Waxman opened for 100,000, Matt Waxman called and then both players checked the {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. Baldwin then check-called a bet of 70,000 on the {7-Clubs} turn before both players returned to checking on the {3-Diamonds} river. Baldwin showed the {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for fours and sevens and it was good as Waxman mucked his cards.

Hand #153: Eric Baldwin raised the button and Matt Waxman folded.

Hand #154: Matt Waxman raised to 100,000 on the button, Baldwin called and the flop came down the {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Baldwin bet 90,000 and Waxman folded.

Hand #143: Eric Baldwin raised to 100,000 from the button, Matt Waxman called and the flop fell {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Waxman check-called a bet of 90,000, the {4-Diamonds} turned and Waxman check-called another bet, this time 180,000.
