Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Craig Carrillo - 19th Place
Craig Carrillo - 19th Place

Craig Carrillo moved all in and was quickly called by Jim Custer.

They both had pairs but the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} of Carrillo was crushed by the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} of Custer.

The board ran out {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Carrillo couldn't come from behind and Custer's march up the leader board continued into second position.

Cutshall Doubles Through Barry

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Doc Barry raised to 50,000 from under the gun and Carl Torelli called, Robert Cutshall moved all in for 166,000 from the small blind. Deborah Phillips folded in the big blind and Barry reraised to 366,000. That got Torelli out of the way and the chip leader turned over {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Cutshall was at risk but held the better hand in {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}, the {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{K-Spades} flop cemented his lead. After the {4-Spades} turn it was all over and the {9-Hearts} river was already meaningless. Double Up! When we lose one more player, a redraw for the last two tables will take place.

Detienne Gets Pushed Around

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Kevin Detienne has been very active however his button raises were frequently met by a three-bet or all in behind him that he typically let go in agony. Just now the very same happened again when he opened to 55,000. David Tran in the big blind three-bet to 200,000 and that enforced a fold after some consideration. Tran showed the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

Only a few minutes later, Dan Heimiller raised to 65,000 and Detienne made it 150,000 in total. Heimiller opted for the call and Detienne bet 150,000 on the {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. Heimiller moved all in and the agony came back to the start-of-the-day chip leader. He mucked his cards and Heimiller revealed in table chat that he wouldn't have mind to get the money in pre flop either.

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Walter Davis
Walter Davis

Walter Davis open shoved from the cutoff for what looked like 250,000 and one seat over, Dan Heimiller moved all in as well. All opponents folded and Heimiller opened his cards with the words "Okay I gamble here," to which Davis replied "You gamble with the best hand."

Davis: {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Heimiller: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{Q-Hearts} board wasn't really a sweat and Davis was sent to the rail in 21st place.

Custer Makes a Stand

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jim Custer and James Miller each put in 100,000 to see a flop of {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Miller bet another 100,000 and Custer shoved for not much more so Miller called it off.

Miller showed {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} but Custer had hit his set {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

The turn {q-Clubs} and ruver {4-Hearts} came out and Custer had twice as many chips as he stared the hand with.

Michael Wilson Eliminated in 22nd Place ($19,633)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Michael Wilson
Michael Wilson

First Michael Wilson got it in with {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} only to get crushed by the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} of his opponent to drop as low as 28,000 chips. Another 3,000 chips went into the next hand as ante and he was all in for 25,000. David Smith isolated to 150,000 and all other opponents folded. Wilson doubled up with his favorite hand {K-Spades}{10-Spades} versus {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} on the {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} board.

Again one hand later, Wilson was all in for 98,000 and got called by Doc Barry one seat over. All other players got out of the way and Wilson had one over card with the {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} to the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} of the chip leader. He spiked the {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} flop but the {9-Diamonds} turn left him drawing dead. A meaningless {10-Spades} completed the board and Wilson headed to the payout desk to collect $19,633.
