Hands #135-136: One for Boyd, One for Norden

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #135: Steven Norden opened on the button for 110,000. Dutch Boyd in the big blind called. The flop was {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} which Boyd cheked as did Norden. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Boyd led for 110,000 and Norden laid it down.

Hand #136: Paul Cogliano called on the button, Boyd folded and Norden in the big blind raised to 150,000. Cogliano Laid it down.

Hands #130-134: Three-Way Flop But No Action

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #130: Dutch Boyd and Steven Norden saw the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop and Boyd took down the pot with a check-raise from 55,000 to 165,000 chips.

Hand #131: Paul Cogliano received a walk and showed {A-}{Q-}.

Hand #132: Norden raised to 110,000 from the button and Boyd made the call out of the big blind. We went to the heads-up {10-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} flop and both players checked. The {5-Hearts} turn triggered was checked through as well.

Once the {J-Hearts} river completed the board and both checked, Boyd announced he had eight-high. Norden flipped over the {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and won the pot.

Hand #133: Cogliano limped from the button and Boyd called from the small blind, Norden checked. We had three-way action to the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{A-Diamonds} flop and Cogliano bet 65,000 after it was checked to him. Both opponents mucked their cards and Cogliano picked up the pot.

Hand #134: Boyd made it 100,000 to go and Cogliano three-bet to 265,000 out of the big blind. Boyd surrendered and Cogliano claimed the chips.

Hands #125-129: Norden Takes an Aggressive Line and Some Walks

Hand #125: Dutch Boyd opened for 100,000 and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #126: Steven Norden opened for 105,000 on the button and Boyd called in the big blind. The flop was {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Check from Boyd and Norden bet 110,000. Boyd called and the turn card was the {4-Clubs}. Check again from Boyd and a 175,000 bet from Norden saw Boyd call. The {5-Diamonds} river card saw both players check. {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} for Boyd and {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for Norden. Chop the chips, dealer.

Hand #127: Paul Cogliano raised to 100,000 and Norden made the call in the big blind. The flop was the [4kc js 4d]. Cogliano bet 85,000 and Norden called to see a {5-Clubs} turn card. Check-check. The river was the {2-Clubs}. Norden led for 350,000 and Cogliano let his hand go.

Hands #120-124: Norden's Bluff Fails

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #120: Paul Cogliano limped from the small blind and Dutch Boyd checked his option in the big blind. Both players checked the {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop and Cogliano then bet 50,000 on the {10-Clubs} turn. Boyd called and did so for a second time after the {6-Spades} river for 65,000. Cogliano showed {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts} but that was only second best to the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} of his opponent.

Hand #121: Cogliano limped from the button, Boyd folded the small blind and Steven Norden checked his option in the big blind. On the {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} flop, Norden bet 55,000 but quickly folded when Cogliano raised it up to 165,000.

Hand #122: Boyd raised to 100,000 from the button and Cogliano defended his big blind to see the {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop. Cogliano checked, Boyd did so as well. The {8-Spades} showed up on the turn. Now Cogliano bet 90,000 and Boyd made the call.

The {4-Spades} river completed the board. Cogliano checked, Boyd glanced at his stack and then bet 200,000. Cogliano let go and the rail once again started cheering for Boyd.

Hand #123: Boyd received a walk in the big blind. More applause from the rail followed.

Hand #124: Cogliano raised to 100,000 and Norden called out of the big blind to see the {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} flop. Both players checked and the {K-Clubs} followed on the turn. Norden bet 90,000 and Cogliano called.

The river card was the {7-Clubs} and Norden led for 165,000, resulting in a quick call from Cogliano. Norden had been caught bluffing and Cogliano won the pot with the {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Hands #116-119: Norden Loses a Few

Hand #116: Steven Norden opened in the small blind for 100,000 and Paul Cogliano called. The flop was {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Norden led out for 105,000 and Cogliano called. The turn was the {4-Spades} and they both checked. The river was the {3-Diamonds}. Norden bet 155,000 and Cogliano moved all in. Norden folded.

Hand #117: Norden made it 110,000 from the button. Boyd in the big blind mad the call. The flop was {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs} and a check from Boyd saw Norden bet 90,000. Boyd raised to 270,000. Norden folded.

Hand #118: Norden got a walk.

Hand #119: Norden limped the small blind and Cogliano checked, they went to a flop of {4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Cogliano bet 50,000 from the big blind and Norden called. The turn was the {q-Clubs}. Cogliano bet 80,000 and Norden called. The river was the {2-Spades}. Check-check. Norden showed the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Cogliano the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Pot to Cogliano.

Hands #113-115: Boyd Pays Off Norden

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #113: Dutch Boyd raised to 100,000 from the button and Steven Norden called from the small blind. On the {2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, Norden checked to Boyd and then check-raised to 250,000 after the continuation bet of his opponent.

Boyd paid the additional 150,000 chips and they both saw the {J-Clubs} turn.Norden checked again and Boyd grabbed some chips, then reconsidered and checked behind.

The {3-Diamonds} river completed the board. Now Norden took the lead and bet 150,000. Boyd studied the board and his opponent for a good three minutes before tossing in the chips with a sigh and turning slightly to the side. Norden flipped over the {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and that was good enough to win the pot.

Hand #114: Paul Cogliano moved all in from the small blind and won the pot without showdown.

Hand #115: Norden got a walk in the big blind.
