Harald Sammer Eliminated in 8th Place ($118,802)

Level 37 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante
Harald Sammer
Harald Sammer

Hand #11: Harald Sammer moved all in from the cutoff and Shyam Srinivasan called in the big blind.

Harald Sammer: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Shyam Srinivasan: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

There was no help for the Austrian on the {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop and the {q-Diamonds} turn meant he was drawing dead by the {4-Spades} river, with Srinivasan having made a set.

Jimmy Chen Eliminated in 10th Place ($71,880)

Level 37 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante
Yu Chen

Chris Chong raised to 825,000 from early position and Jimmy Chen moved the last of his 2,025,000 chips into the pot from middle position. The action folded back to Chong who made the call after asking for a count.

Chris Chong: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Jimmy Chen: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Chong took the lead with trip tens. Chen was looking to hit one of the fours left in the deck, but the {k-Hearts} on the turn nor the {5-Clubs} on the river was any help.

Chuaprasert Makes a Big Laydown

Level 36 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante

Daniel Corbett opened to 700,000 from under the gun and Rittie Chuaprasert flat-called from the hijack. The two players went heads-up to a flop of {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Corbett led out for 600,000 and Chuaprasert called to see the {4-Hearts} on the turn.

Corbett fired another bet of 1,900,000 but that still wouldn't shake Chuaprasert as he stuck around to see the {k-Hearts} double-pair the board on the river. Corbett announced all in, putting Chuaprasert to the test for his remaining 4,000,000 chips. Chuaprasert wasted little time before folding {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} face up.
