Tuan Phan Eliminated in 19th Place ($12,244)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Tuan Phan
Tuan Phan

Tuan Phan was the shortest stack still remaining and he moved all in for 92,000 in the cutoff. Ari Engel just called on the button and both of the blinds folded.

Ari Engel: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Tuan Phan: {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Engel was in a commanding position and the flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} left Phan grasping at straws. The {k-Diamonds} on the turn sealed the deal and the {7-Clubs} on the river was a formality.

The final 18 players will now redraw for seats at the final two tables.

Kristen Bicknell Eliminated in 20th Place ($12,244)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

After dropping to under 300,000 in chips, Kristen Bicknell made a bid for a comeback, moving all in uncalled, and raising the next pot, but her build-back was abruptly ended by Ryan Olisar. He opened to 33,000 on the button, and she moved in again. He called with pocket eights, dominating her fives and ending up as a full house on a {8-}{9-}{q-}{10-}{q-} board.

Mark Radoja Eliminated in 21st Place ($12,244)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Mark Radoja
Mark Radoja

It looked like a great flop for Mark Radoja who flopped top pair with a flush draw but unfortunately for him, Jose Brito flopped a set of eights with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. All of the chips got in the middle on the flop and Radoja needed some help.

The turn was a brick and the river brought another eight to give Brito quads. Radoja was forced to exit the tournament and headed to the payout desk to claim his prize.

Arieh Ascending

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Josh Arieh, stack arranged with triangular base crowned with towers of pink and yellow chips, just took a 400,000 chip pot from Kristen Bicknell to add to his battlements. On a board of {10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Clubs} big blind Arieh led out for 63,000 and Bicknell called. The river paired the deuce ({2-Spades}) and Arieh led out again, this time for 138,000. Bicknell tanked for a while (this represented a third of her remaining chips). She flicked in a single chip signifying her call, but mucked when Arieh showed her {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Hon Cheong Lee Eliminated in 23rd Place, Robert Heidorn Eliminated in 22nd Place ($12,244)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Hon Cheong Lee
Hon Cheong Lee

The action folded to Baitai Li on the button who raised it up to 34,000. Hon Cheong Lee three-bet shoved all in for 271,000 in the big blind and Li asked for a count before making the call.

Baitai Li: {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Hon Cheong Lee: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Li took the lead with a pair of nines. The {j-Spades} and {2-Spades} runout would not help Lee as he became the next player to fall.

Meanwhile, at the table next door, Ari Engel and Robert Heidorn collided in a massive pot that resulted in Heidorn leaving the tournament area. Engel was stacking the chips to join the leaders with a seven-figure stack.

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

The lowest in chips of those returning today, Anatoly Filatov found a spot to jam with {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} needing to hit against the {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} of Robert Heidorn. A queen-high runout means the end of his Day 3. The current stacks at the table now without Filatov are below.

Michael Stephenson Eliminated in 25th Place ($12,244)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Michael Stephenson
Michael Stephenson

The action folded to Michael Stephenson in the cutoff who shipped all in for his last 162,000. Harald Sammer re-shoved all in on the button and the blinds got out of the way.

Harald Sammer: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Michael Stephenson: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

Stephenson was looking to find an ace but the flop of {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} made things awfully challenging. The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and the river was the {6-Spades} to send Stephenson to the payout desk.

James Carroll Eliminated in 26th Place ($12,244)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
James Carroll
James Carroll

Josh Arieh and James Carroll were heads-up in a hand with the flop reading {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Carroll came into the day as one of the short stacks and had the majority of his chips already in the middle. The two players got the rest in the middle and the cards were tabled.

Josh Arieh: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
James Carroll: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {k-Clubs} on the turn provided Carroll with a flush draw to go with his two live cards but the {q-Diamonds} on the river bricked off and he was the first casualty of the day.

No-One is Here to Fold

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Under the gun, first hand of the day and the first shove. Ben Keeline put his 203,000 on the line right away, receiving no call.

When Wilbern Hoffman did the same, however, for 183,000, he did find a caller in Day 1 and Day 2 overnight chip leader Baitai Li, who called with {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Hoffman's {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} held up across the {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} runout and he moved up to the middle of the pack in chips.
