In a field of which many of the biggest names at the 2019 World Series of Poker took to the felt, only 26 players still remain in Event #48: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em. They will all have one goal in mind today and that is to reach the final six in order to earn a shot at a WSOP gold bracelet and $427,399.

Leading the field for the second straight day is Baitai Li who will enter Day 3 with 1,686,000 chips. Li held on to the chip lead throughout much of Day 2 but he now has a couple of players nipping on his heels. Michael Finstein wrapped up the day with 1,411,000 after quietly going about his business while Ryan Olisar put 1,396,000 in his bag. Olisar played much of Day 2 with Li but the two will be separated to start today.

Some other big names to keep an eye out for throughout the day include Josh Arieh (954,000), Ari Engel (815,000), Barny Boatman(722,000), David "Bakes" Baker (688,000), Kenny Hallaert (526,000), and Kristen Bicknell (385,000). Most of which already have WSOP bracelets to their name but a few are still looking for their first.

The action will get underway at 1 p.m. local time with the blinds starting at 8,000/16,000 and a 16,000 big blind ante. The levels will be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two levels. A 60-minute dinner break is scheduled for after the sixth level. The schedule indicates that play will stop once the final six have been reached but that could still change based on the pace of play.

Continue to follow the PokerNews live reporting team to find out who will make the final table and earn a shot at a WSOP gold bracelet.
