Ahmadi Eliminates Ellerbe

Level 29 : 60,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mark Ellerbe moved all-in preflop for his remaining chips and Narimaan Ahmadi called.

The cards were turned face-up and it was Ellerbe who needed help with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} versus the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} held by Narimaan.

The dealer spread out a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Narimaan stayed ahead.

The turn card was the {10-Spades} and changed nothing.

The river card was the {9-Hearts} and Narimaan locked up the hand, which in turn eliminated Ellerbe from the tournament.

Taylor Spikes Ten to Survive

Level 29 : 60,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Brian Taylor was all in preflop and already standing up as his {a-}{10-} was in trouble vs the {a-}{k-} of Mark Ellerbe.

The dealer quickly dealt the board as the flop came {2-}{8-}{7-} and the turn {7-}. It was the {10-} on the river that saved Taylor as he sat right back down and Ellerbe took his dejection in silence as many of his chips were carved away.

Herman Eliminates Kovtunov

Level 29 : 60,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Hlib Kovtunov raised all-in from the button with {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and was called by Joshua Herman from the small blind who held {a-Spades}{j-Spades}.

The dealer flopped {6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Herman remained in the lead with ace-high.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and that sealed the fate of Kovtunov. The meaningless {7-Clubs} river card made it official, and it was the one pair of aces held by Herman that bested the king-high of Kovtunov, and the latter was eliminated from the tournament.

With that pot Herman chipped up to a comfortable 4,700,000 chips

Young Out Kicked by Wang

Level 29 : 60,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Maxwell Young
Maxwell Young

Rodney Spriggs limped in from under the gun, Kevin Wang raised to 450,000 from the button and Maxwell Young called off his 135,000 stack from the big blind.

Action was back on Spriggs who called and the dealer dropped a {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop on the felt. Spriggs check-called Wang's 375,000 continuation bet and the {9-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Spriggs this time check-folded after Wang jammed and the two all in hands were revealed.

Maxwell Young: {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Kevin Wang: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Young was well behind needing a king or nine just to chop but the {3-Clubs} completed the board on the river and ended his tournament.

Ariel Sherker: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Jordyn Miller: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Sherker was eliminated.

Blais Eliminates Scott

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Drew Scott pushed his remaining chips into the middle preflop and was called by William Blais.

The cards were turned face-up and it was a coinflip as Blais held {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} versus the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} held by Scott.

The dealer spread out a flop of {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Blais jumped out to the early lead.

The turn card was the {j-Hearts} and Blais still led.

The river card was the {9-Diamonds} and that sealed the deal for Blais and his one pair of Queens, which in turn eliminated Scott from the tournament.

Ly Loses Race to Hutchinson

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Christian Ly open-jammed under the gun for 800,000 and action folded to Dean Dean Hutchinson who called from the big blind.

Christian Ly: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Dean Hutchinson: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Ly was racing for his tournament life and kept the lead after the {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop hit the felt.

The {j-Spades} turn however, paired Hutchinson, leaving Ly needing any queen or seven to stay alive.

Unfortunately for him, the {4-Clubs} completed the board on the river and ended his tournament.

Spasov Gets Two-Pair Value

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Action was on the river as the board read {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Simeon Spasov bet 335,000 into a pot of roughly the same amount. Joseph Nelligan called after a few moments.

Spasov announced two-pair and tabled the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}which was good enough to take down the pot as Nelligan mucked it.
