Final Table Action

The eight-handed official final table kicked off with the average chip stack around 25 big blinds. The action was a bit slow at first but then JJ "artiliu" Liu moved in with a short-stack with king-six and ran into the pocket queens for Stuewe. The board didnt improve Lius hand and she was eliminated in eighth place.

Soon after Michael "joebiden" Klein was out in seventh place when he picked up a flush draw with king-nine and fell to the top pair for Quintin "AA_QTiP_KK" Trammell. A few hands later Ryan "sychosid" Hohner moved all in with nines and ran into the kings of Garosshen and was eliminated in sixth place.

A little while later Adrian "sacakewalk" Sacher picked up ace-king and was all in against the big stack of Trammell with ace-ten. The board ran out with two-pair for Trammell and Sacher was eliminated in fifth place.

Four-handed battle went back and forth for some time until David "bewater" Goodman moved all in with ace-king and was called by the pocket tens for Stuewe. The board didnt help Goodman and he was eliminated in fourth place.

After losing a few pots Trammell became short and moved all in with queens and was called by Garosshen with king-nine. The river brought a king and Trammell was sent to the rail in third place.

Heads-up play started with Garosshen having an almost 2-1 lead on Stuewe. A big hand took place where Garosshen made a straight on the river with nine-seven and moved all in. Stuewe snap-called with jack-nine for the nut straight and turned the tables on the match. A short while later Garrosshen moved in with king-seven and was called by Stuewe with king-six. The board ran out with a six and Garrosshen was forced to settle with second place. Stuewe took down the tournament and scored WSOP gold.
