Zachary Grech Eliminated in 4th Place ($41,191)

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Zachary Grech
Zachary Grech

With Michael Rocco under the gun and Zachary Grech in the small blind position, the flop read {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. The heads-up opponents re-raised each other until Grech was all in and cards went up.

Zachary Grech: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Michael Rocco: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

With Grech flopping a flush, the table, including Rocco thought Grech had the hand in the bag. The turn came down an {8-Diamonds} and the river was an {8-Hearts} and the room went crazy as Rocco went runner-runner to hit eights full of queens in a sick beat that sent Grech out of the tournament.

Rocco checked to Grech who bet and sent Rocco in to the tank before finally calling. Grech flipped over {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} which made a straight to the nine and was good for the win as Rocco mucked his hand.
