Figueredo Tanked During The Break

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

While all the players were invited to go on a break for 15-minutes, Murilo Figueredo just took almost half the break to think about his decision. He was playing against Jason Daly.

Jason Daly: {x-}{x-}/{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}/{x-}
Murilo Figueredo:{x-}{x-}/{8-Spades}{j-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}/{x-}

While four players were involved to fourth street, Murilo Figueredo bet on fifth street to finish heads up with Daly.
Both players checked sixth but on seventh, after a bet from Figueredo, Daly raised it and Figueredo went into the tank.

Five minutes later, someone called the clock, and Figueredo was forced to act quickly. He decided to fold and was left with less than eight minutes of his break.

James Morgan: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}/{x-}
Maurizio Melara: {x-}{x-}/{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}/{x-}

James Morgan completed and was called by Maurizio Melara. Morgan kept betting on fourth and fifth, with Melara calling.

On sixth, Morgan bet his last 70,000 and Melara called, turning over {2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for a wheel draw. Morgan had {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a pair of jacks.

Melara flipped over the {5-Spades} on seventh, making a pair of fives, as he dropped to a short stack while Morgan doubled up.

Kyle Loman: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{3-}{7-}{9-}/{x-}
Peter Brownstein: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{5-}{10-} - folded

Kyle Loman raised and both Michelle Roth and Peter Brownstein called. Both opponents also called a bet from Loman on fourth.

Loman bet again on fifth and Roth moved all in for 10,000 more. Brownstein gave it some thought before folding, while Loman called.

Roth turned over {5-}{8-} and Loman {4-}{3-}. Loman turned over a {6-} on his last card to make a 7-6-4-3-2.

"What do you need," a supporter called out to Roth as she prepared to show her last card.

"I needed him not to make an eight, six, or an ace," she replied as she showed the {7-} and was eliminated in 14th place.

Eddy Vataru
Eddy Vataru

Limit Hold'em

David Williams raised before Tamon Nakamura reraised in middle position. From the small blind, Eddy Vataru moved all in and both Williams and Nakamura called.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades} and Williams check-called a bet. Nakamura also bet the {4-Hearts} turn and Williams stuck around to the river.

On the {4-Clubs} river, Williams checked, then quickly folded when Nakamura bet, flashing an ace.

Nakamura showed {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for two pair, aces and fours, but Vataru showed {9-}{9-} for the flopped set that turned into a full house on the river.
