Louis Hillman Eliminated in 10th Place ($9,141)

Level 28
Louis Hillman
Louis Hillman

Louis Hillman raised in the small blind with Benny Glaser in the big blind. The four-time bracelet winner asked Hillman to confirm that he had 80,000 remaining in his stack and then made the call.

Each player drew two cards and then checked. On the second draw, Hillman still drew two, while Glaser only needed one.

Hillman checked, and Glaser bet, which was enough to cover Hillman's remaining stack.

"Gotta go," said Hillman, rolling his Mario Kart Luigi figurine forward and placing his last 80,000 chips beside it.

Each player drew one and revealed their holdings.

Louis Hillman: 8x6x3x2x/Xx
Benny Glaser: 8x7x5x2x/Xx

Glaser showed his draw first, picking up a three to make an 8x7x5x3x2x.

Hillman would need a five or four to survive yet again, but Hillman's good fortune finally ran out as he peeled a Jx, ending an impressive ladder-up in tenth place.

Rodrigues Doubles Through Leonard

Level 28

Patrick Leonard bet from the small blind and Michael Rodrigues made it three bets from the big blind. Leonard made the call and drew two while Rodrigues drew one.

Both players checked after the first draw. Leonard stood pat and Rodrigues drew one.

After the second draw Leonard fired a bet and was called by Rodrigues. Once again Leonard stood pat and Rodrigues drew one.

With no draws remaining Leonard bet and Rodrigues called off for nearly all of his remaining chips.

Leonard showed 9x5x4x3x2x and Rodrigues showed 8x6x4x3x2x to secure the double-up.

Another Hillman Double Through Kessler

Level 28
Louis Hillman
Louis Hillman

Louis Hillman was down to his last 140,000 when he raised on the button. Allen Kessler asked him to confirm that total and then re-raised enough to put Hillman all in for the umpteenth time today. Hillman called off and was at risk again.

Kessler drew three, while Hillman only needed two cards. On the second draw, they were each down to a single discard, and on the final draw after Kessler drew one, Hillman stood pat.

Hillman revealed his 9x7x4x3x2x, while Kessler showed 8x7x4x2x, drawing live to a six, five, or three.

The Chainsaw couldn't carve out a winner though as he paired his 2x, sending another double up across to Hillman, that now has Kessler among the short stacks as well.

Alexander Freund Eliminated in 11th Place ($9,141)

Level 28
Alexander Freund
Alexander Freund

Alexander Freund opened from under the gun and received calls from James "Minnesota" Williams from the small blind and Josh Damm in the big blind. Freund drew three while Williams and Damm drew two each.

After the first draw Williams and Damm both checked, Freund bet the last of his chips and both of his opponents made the call. Freund drew one, Williams drew one and Damm drew two.

Williams checked after the second draw and Damm fired a bet, forcing Williams out of the pot and leaving action heads up between him and Freund.

Damm stood pat and Freund drew one for the final draw.

Alexander Freund: 9x7x6x3x2x
Josh Damm: 8x7x5x4x3x

Freund's nine-seven could not beat Damm's eight-seven and he was knocked out of the tournament while Damm extended his chip lead over the rest of the field.

Leonard Goes Bluff Catching

Level 27

Action was picked up just before the second draw. Play was heads up between Patrick Leonard in the button and Louis Hillman in position. Hillman drew one and Leonard stood pat.

After the second draw Hillman check-called another bet from Leonard and again drew one while Leonard stood pat.

With no draws remaining Hillman took the initiative and fired a bet. Leonard thought about his decision for a little over 30 seconds before making the call.

Hillman tabled 8x7x5x2x2x for a bluff while Leonard showed 9x5x4x3x2x for the winner to take down a decent pot, leaving Hillman on fumes once again in the process.

Hillman Rebuilds Through Kessler

Level 27

Louis Hillman's battle with the short stack continues, and he continues to succeed when in dire straits.

Hillman raised on the button and got three-bet by Allen Kessler in the big blind. Hillman called and drew two after Kessler drew one.

Kessler bet after the first draw and then Hillman placed chips forward and cut them out. He didn't realize that he had cut out enough for a raise, but his bet was binding and Kessler called.

They both still needed a card and then checked to the final drawing round.

Kessler placed a bet and Hillman cut out calling chips which would be 80,000 of his remaining 90,000 chips.

After a minute or so of thought, he pushed the call forward and declared eighty-seven perfect 8x7x4x3x2x.

His hand was good, as Kessler frustratedly mucked his hand to send another pot to the short-stack ninja of the $1,500 Triple Draw event.

Glaser Chips Up Through Hillman

Level 27
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

In a battle of the blinds, Louis Hillman limped his small blind and Benny Glaser checked his big blind.

Hillman then drew two, while Glaser took three. Hillman then led out, but got raised by Glaser. Hillman made the call and then drew one, while Glaser also still needed one.

After Hillman checked, Glaser bet and Hillman called to go to the final draw, still needing one card. Glaser stood pat.

Hillman checked to Glaser, who bet the final street which sent Hillman into the tank for over a minute before he chose to fold his hand and send a pot to Glaser, who is solidly rebuilding at his new table after the redraw.
